The sun beamed through the window above me, signalling it was morning
My eyes softly opened and embraced the new daylight
A little below my eye level was a pair of two other sleeping eyes
Lexie
Memories of the day prior flooded my head, causing me to smile and my face heat up slightly
She looks so peaceful
I gently reached over her to grab my phone to check the time
6.00 AM
I need to leave soon
I put it back down and moved back to be in front of her peacefully sleeping face
I placed a tender kiss on her forehead as an effort to wake her up
She stretched out an arm and sighed as she put it back down
Her eyes wearily flicked open and softened as they met mine
"Good morning" she said in a slightly deeper morning voice with a yawn
"Good morning beautiful"
She coyly smiled at me and put a sweet kiss on my lips
As she pulled back, I placed a hand on her cheek and pulled her in again
This kiss was deeper and more meaningful, yet completely pure and loving
She giggled into the kiss as I rolled us over to slightly hover above her on her back
I kissed down her cheek and to her neck, and then to her collarbone
Her body moved against mine as I worshipped her silky skin
She whined slightly at the loss of contact as I pulled away and sat up next to her
She didn't seem so unhappy though as she looked over at me, naked with hickeys littered all over my body
"I would love to continue but we have to get to the hospital" I said, drawing her attention to my e/c eyes
She sighed and also got up to prepare for the day
I stood up and pulled all my clothes on
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door
We looked at each other in a panic and I quickly slid under the bed
The door creaked open as two feet stood outside
"Do you still want to come in with us?"
Lexie went silent for a moment in thought
"Yes. Yes! I'll just be a minute"
"Ok, we're leaving in five minutes"
"Thank you Meredith"
The door shuts, so I roll out from under the bed
"And how do you propose I get to work? Or even out of this house?"
