1. Not the Ukranian Average

"What do you mean you are leaving?" I sat across from Danny at a small Diner.

"I quit the band. It's as simple as that Nova. Harlot has much more potential than Asking ever will have again." He explained.

"Danny this means that I am out of a job."

"Nova I will make sure you are taken care of." He sighed.

"Have you already called Ben?" I raised my eyebrow.

Danny nodded.

"Good. They deserve to be the first to know that you quit."

My phone began to ring, Ben's caller ID popping up.

"I have to take this."

Danny nodded.

"If you ever need anything, just call me." He said.

I nodded, picking up my phone as I walked to my car.

"Can you be at my place in ten?" Ben asked.

"Yeah I'm just around the corner."

"Great." He said as he hung up.

I pulled up to the large house which Ben and his wife lived in.

I noticed a black Car, similar to my Jeep sitting in the driveway.

I got out of mine, and walked in the front door, I heard voices and laughter.

I walked into the living room, where all the boys were sat on the couch, along with an unfamiliar man.

Ben got up and hugged me.

"Nova!" The rest of the boys smiled.

"Come sit." Ben said as he gestured to the couch.

I sat down, across from the mystery man.

"Danny quit the band." James blurted.

"I know."

"Dude you can't just blurt that stuff out, you gotta have some talk before that." Sam rolled his eyes. "Wait, you knew?"

I nodded. "He took me to dinner and then told me."

"He actually spoke to you?" Ben asked, surprised.

I nodded. "Yeah it was very weird." Danny had never had much use for me, he had tried to get me into bed with him multiple times, but when he realized that I wasn't that type of girl I was suddenly a lot less interesting to him.

"Well, this is Denis. He's our new vocalist." Cameron gestured towards the mystery man.

"It's nice to meet you. Welcome to the family." I smiled.

"Thanks." He smiled.

He was gorgeous. His, tattoos were beautiful, and his features were all striking and intimidating.

"We just recorded our first single together, and we leave for tour next week." Ben announced.

"Well you guys better get packing." I smiled.

"You aren't getting away from us that easily. You are coming with us." Ben announced.

"You guys want to have me work with you still?" I smiled.

"You are Family Nova." James smiled.

"Get your skinny British asses over here and give me a hug.

They all stood up and hugged me at once.

I looked over to see Denis sitting there awkwardly.

"Well come on and join the group hug, you are a part of this family too." I smiled.

"I'm Ukrainian." He laughed as he got up and joined the hug.
