Second Person POV
You were all on a boat, swimming to the Land of Waves, you were sitting next to Sasuke playing some string you found in your backpack
"The fog is so thick, you can't see anything" Sakura whispered, but loud enough for everyone to hear. It was silent, a kind of awkward yet nice silence.
"What are you? A cat?" Sasuke asked coldly, you leaned over slightly like you were going to whisper something in his ear but instead you lightly licked his cheek "ugh, what the hell?" Sasuke said, wiping his cheek (when you lick his cheek, you pull your mask down for a second and then pull it back up before anyone sees)
"Hehe, your fault for asking" is all you said before once again occupying yourself with the string you held
'This guy is tough and smart but ruins it with his childish personality, he's almost as bad as Naruto!' Sasuke thought
"The bridge isn't far now, our destination is just ahead: the Land of Waves" the man steering the boat informed everyone. Everyone's attention was then caught by the unfinished, but awesome bridge
"Woah, it's huge!!" Naruto yelled which caused you to almost fall out of the boat, but you were stopped since Sasuke grabbed onto your shirt and pulled you back up
"Quiet! I told you no noise, why do you think we're travelling like this huh? Cutting off the engine and rowing, moving with the dense fog so that they don't see us" The man whisper-yelled, scolding Naruto
"Mister Tazuna, before we reach the peer I want to ask you something. The men who are after you, I want to know why, if you don't tell us then I'm afraid we'll have to end this mission when we reach the shore" Kakashi demanded. We all turned around to look at Tazuna, waiting for him to explain
"I have no choice but to tell you*. No, I want you to know the truth. Like you said, this is beyond the scope of the original mission, the one who seeks my life is a very short man, who casts a very long and deadly shadow." Tazuna began
"A deadly shadow?" You questioned. Tazuna nodded "Hmm..."
"Who is it?" Kakashi asked
"You know him, or at least you've heard his name before, he's one of the wealthiest men in the world, the shipping magnet Gato" Tazuna described
"Gato?! You mean that wealth obsessed bastard?!" You whisper-yelled
"Gato? Of Gato Transport?" Kakashi's eyes widened "he's a business leader, everybody knows him"
"Who? Who? What? What?" Naruto questioned quickly, obviously not knowing who Gato was
"Gato, is a very powerful tycoon from a famous company, that's true. But below the surface, with the same ruthless meddles he uses to take over businesses and nations, he sells drugs, and contraband, using gangs and ninja. It was on year ago when Gato first set his eyes on the Land of Waves, he came to our island and used his vast wealth to take total control of our transport and shipping, anyone who tried to stand in his way simply disappeared. In a island nation a man who controls the sea controls everything, finance, government, our very lives. But there's one thing he fears, the bridge, when it is complete it will join us to the land and that will break his control. I, am the bridge builder" Tazuna explained
"So that's it, since you're in charge of the bridge you're standing in this gangsters way" Sakura concluded
"That means those guys we fought in the forest, they were working for Gato." Sasuke joined
