Part 6

 She got the pots and pans she needed and I sat on the counter like she did the night before. "So I have to inform you about something because I don't want you to be surprised in the future." I tell her while watching her start cooking. "Oh what's up?" She ask me while focusing on not burning the food. "So you remember Bang Chan right? Y'all met yesterday." I ask her. "Oh yeah the guy from that one boy band." She replied still watching the food. "So me and him had something going on before what happened last night. I wanted to tell you because I don't want there to be any secrets between us." I tell her while watching her to see if she reacts. "Oh.. I mean I guess I could tell. Thank you for telling me." She says while not seeming to react to badly. "I also want to inform you that I'm going to cut things off with him later today in person. I still want to be friends with him but I want something with you." I tell her pulling my phone out of my pocket. "That's fine by me. I want the same thing with you." She tells me sounding happy. I sat on the counter watching my phone. She tapped me on the leg when food was ready. I looked up from my phone and she handed me a plate. We sat down on my couch and ate our food. We talked more and I found out that the lease on her apartment is almost up and that she didn't have a place to go to once it was up. I felt bad for her but I wasn't ready to start living with someone else so soon especially since there was something going on between us. I told her how I felt about wanting her to move in with me. She said she understood and that she would try to find another someplace else to go. I felt bad but she didn't seem to be upset over the fact she couldn't stay here. I looked at the time and noticed it was almost time for me to meet up with Chan. I told Hayoon I needed to get ready. She took my plate and went to clean it off while I went to change. I went into my room and changed into real clothes. I grabbed my purse and keys. "Hayoon I'm gonna give you my spare key and when you leave please lock the door." I tell her wile setting the key on the counter behind her. "Okay! I might still be here when you get back but I might also go to my apartment." She tells me while washing off the plates and other dishes. I tell her bye and leave my apartment. I text Chan on my way to the place we where going to meet. I was really nervous to tell him but also relieved to finally be able to find myself and find who/what I want. I don't fully know what I identify as yet but I know I don't have as strong of feelings towards guys. Once I got to the place me and Chan where meeting at I saw him standing waiting on his phone. I walked up to him and said hi. "Hey Jung!" He replied and his enthusiasm made it to where this news was going to be harder to tell him. We sat down at a table and that's when he asked me what was the reason we met. I took a deep breath and started speaking. "Chan.. the reason I decided to meet for us to meet is because I have something to tell you." I say trying to not have to tell him so soon. "Jung what's going on?" He asks in a worried and softer tone. "Whatever we had going on between us romantically has to end Chan.." I tell him quickly. "Oh.. uhm what changed?" He asked in an upsetting tone. "There is something happening between me and Hayoon. I have feelings for her and she has feelings for me." I tell him feeling sorry because of the look on his face. "Oh! Well I thought there was another guy in your life." He tells me with a happier tone. "Oh uhm yeah it's Hayoon that I'm seeing I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." I tell him while seeming happier. "I'm just glad you told me Jung. I'm happy for y'all I'm glad its her and not someone else that I haven't met and have gotten to know." He tells me with a big smile on him face. I smile and tell him I'm going to go back to my apartment we hug and I leave. As I'm walking back to my apartment I text Hayoon to see if she is there at my apartment. She texts me back saying she is walking back to my apartment. I put my phone away as I approach my apartment complex. I get my key out of my purse and walk into the apartment complex. I walk up the stairs to my apartment. I unlock the door and set my stuff down on the counter and went into my bedroom and laid on my bed. I was on my phone when I heard the lock on my apartment door unlatch. I heard grocery bags be set on the counter then saw Hayoon walk into my room. "I got some groceries to make lunch for us if you're hungry." She told me while going to sit at the end of my feet. "I'm not very hungry. We can just make it for diner. If you plan on staying again." I tell her sitting up on the bed. "Oh okay. So how did you and Bang Chans meet up go?" She asked while scooting closer to me. "Oh right. He was actually really understanding about our situation." I replied putting my phone down in front of me. "Well I'm glad to hear that he was understanding but you seem a bit off. Is everything okay?" She asked me while trying to make eye contact with me. "Oh uhm yeah sorry I'm just very tired. I don't even know why I am but I just am very tired." I replied rubbing my eyes.
