Throughout the Years

Niklaus spotted a man in a long trench coat. He looked at her heartbroken—or should she think heartsbroken? She knew Katerina would escape because of Elijah. She had had something to bring Katerina back because of what she knew, but no, Elijah helped her escape and she was now a vampire.

She approached the man in the trench coat and hugged him tightly as she sobbed. Kol and Finn watch from a distance as mentally cursed out there for brother for wanting under the doppelganger's dress and not understand that their sister needed her other half unblocked. They were angry that Elijah seemed to hold no guilt for allowing Nik to be cursed and not realize it's his fault it happened.

The Tenth Doctor held so much anger towards Rebekah and Elijah, even if Rebekah hadn't done what she would do yet. He was glad that Nik knew if he was there she could get comfort from him.

Nik had strolled by ignoring Elijah and Rebekah talking about that Emil man. By now she could not wait to travel with the Doctor, but she kept her patience. A throat cleared and a man in some kind of jacket and a red fabric tied in a knot stood behind her. "Doctor?" she questioned, knowing this was the Eleventh Doctor, the one that came before the one she met when she turned. This was the first time she came across one of them since then.

"So you have met me before?" Eleven said in questioning, like he was trying to figure out when he would see her first.

Nik's lips curled up slightly knowing he had been trying to figure it out and her future self would tell him eventually. "If I've recognized your Tenth, I think I would recognize you," she mentioned.

"Where are Kol and Finn?" Eleven asked.

"They're nearby. We can all only tolerate Elijah and Rebekah for so long," Nik said with a shrug.

"Anyway, you told me that someone of importance would be here, and that you needed to hide them from Rebekah," Eleven spoke.

"Any other clues?"

"Look at the slaves and someone named Emil has something to do with it," Eleven said, his voice rising in pitch as a questioning tone started to appear.

Nik raised an eyebrow but then they hear a young boy screaming and found a child slave throwing apples at people in anger.

That was when Nik met her son who she named Marcellus. That was the day Marcellus met his new mother who didn't judge skin color, and a new father who didn't either. That was the day Marcellus learned the supernatural and species from other worlds existed.

Finn strolled by and dropped a letter in front of Nik. 'Niklaus Anseldottir—Mikael is nearby. Rebekah called him. Get Marcellus and leave—10'. Nik went to where Marcel was hiding to already see Kol already pulling him out.

"Niklaus, Father has been spotted," Elijah spoke as Rebekah panicked looking for somebody. Unfortunately Rebekah had found out about Marcel, but Niklaus wouldn't let anything happen to her son after one of the Doctor's warned her about Rebekah's intentions.

"Yes, I just found out."

People—vampires actually, started screaming and they all rushed out. Elijah yelped when his wrist was turned in a sharp angle as Niklaus broke away and went to the bit of time energy she could see, knowing her brothers were nearby. As she approached, she opened her arms and her son hugs her tightly. Nik had wanted Marcel to know the danger of being around Mikael, so he had known that even if his mother hadn't shown it openly, she was terrified.
