After that weird encounter with Walker, I went back into the living room to finish watching the movie with the others. After I sat down, I kept replaying that moment with Walker in my head.
What did he mean by 'wait'? Was he trying to tell me something? Soon all that overthinking left my mind when Leah told me she was going to sit beside Momo and Xochitl for a while.
A few seconds later, Walker walks back in and sat down in the spot that he was sitting in earlier. Since Leah wasn't sitting there no more, the space between me and Walker got a little bit closer. I refocused my thoughts onto the movie that was playing.
I personally love Fear Street, it's my favorite trilogy for real. I grabbed some more popcorn out of the bowl as I started to feel eyes eyeing at me like im a prize on a wall.
And it's coming from the left of me. I look out the corner of my eye to see Walker eye balling me. Ok seriously, what's his problem tonight? I tried to ignore this weird feeling and get back to the movie. About an hour or so later. The first movie finished.
"Yall wanna play a game before we start Part 2?" Leah asked. Everyone agreed except me. I was skeptical about this. Knowing Leah, she kinda takes things a little bit too far.
"Cmon Y/n/nnn!" Momona pleaded. "Fine." I said, finally giving in. "Ok! So yall wanna play uno, truth or dare, 7 minutes in heaven, childish i know but still can be fun or board games?" Leah said. I picked one of the safest options of course, uno!
And of course, everyone picked truth or dare. We all sat on the floor in a circle. "Ok who's going first?" Xochitl asked. "I will!" Leah volunteered. "Ouu mk, truth or dare?" Xochitl asked Leah. Leah then thought about her answer for a while. "Dare." She spoke.
A smirk soon tugged on Xochitl lips. "I dare you to let me go through your messages with the last person you texted." She said. "Fineee." Leah groaned. She unlocked her phone and went to her messages and gave her phone to Xochitl.
She then started to scroll through messages, making interesting facial expressions. After she gave back Leah the phone, it was someone else's turn. "Y/n should go next." Leah suggested. My eyes widened with a confused expression. "No, nonononono-" I kept going till i got cut off from my words.
"Cmon, you never do anything fun, are you a pussy?" Walker joked. "Ok bet, I'll go." I said trying to prove a point that I was not a fucking pussy. "Ouuu mkk, truth or dare?" Leah asked. "Dare." I spoke confidently in my words. "I dare you to play 7 minutes in heaven with..... Walker!" She said.
When I tell you my jaw dropped 6 feet under. "Hey! Why do you have to punish me?!" Walker spoke aloud. "And what are we? In fifth grade?" I said after him. "Whatttt, we know y'all don't like each otherrr, so why not add some dramaaa." Leah spoke and singing drama at the end of her sentence.
I took a deep breath and sucked it up. I stand up and walk to the living room closet. I stopped when I realized Walker wasn't following me. "Come on! Or are you a pussy?" I said, reversing his words onto him. He rolled his eyes and got up and started walking behind me.
We soon got into the closet as Leah yelled she started the timer. Surprisingly, the closet wasn't too small so there was a gap between me and Walker but not that big.
We was quiet for at least about 2 minutes before Walker started to talk. "Look, I didn't mean to eavesdrop on your conversation earlier, I was just coming back from the bathroom and that's when I heard you on the phone. I'm sorry and I promise, I won't tell anyone."
Did he just... apologize? I softly smiled at him being so... nice? I soon realized what I was doing and quickly ignored him. (Y/n's gonna be slow chat 😞✌🏽) Out the corner of my eye, I noticed his expression changed into a sad one as he soon started to lean on the other side of the wall.
Did I feel bad? Yes of course but it's not like we could be friends. All he does is cling to his papers and pens and as do I.
Soon the 7 minutes were up and Leah opened the door with hope that something happened between us. Me and Walker both sat down in silence, changing the whole vibe of the room.
I wish I could reverse my actionssss.
