That morning, the maids woke you and dressed you as usual. Even going so far as bathing you. Then, they informed you of the All father's return to Asgard. He was eager to see you was what the maids had said. You were more than nervous, but hid it well.
You stepped into the heavily guarded room, remembering the last time you were here with Thor. Each mosaic of the family's history was displayed to everyone who stepped in. Maybe it was a means of intimidation or just remembrance.
Your dress dragged along the tile floors as you strode towards the throne. The Allfather, Odin, sat atop it. Frigga was beside him giving you a reassuring smile.
You curtsied for the both of them. "It is an honor to be able to speak with you today, Your Majesty. I am here to," you began to say.
Odin cut you off by saying, "Yes, I know why you are here. Your parents. I am troubled to bring you bad news. It is a tough subject and not easily does an answer happen upon me, but I did know them well. They died honorably, protecting you and their home worlds. You may be part Asgardian, but you are still part of them too.
"I did not like it much then when one of our greatest warriors fell in love with a hybrid. But you seem to have come a long way and are still figuring yourself out. I am glad my sons have found their fated one. It is not often that we have soulmates left on Asgard. Protect them and trust them as they will do to you," the King commanded. You nodded and then glanced around for another moment. You were going to leave, but then you had another question.
"Was I here during these events?" You pointed at the mosaics depicting battles and wars.
"Yes, but only a few. When your father left to live with your mother on her home world, you went with them of course. Then the unfortunate end of that planet came and you came back before the war. During which you were stowed away on the planet called Earth, which we call Midgard."
"By whom?"
"I cannot say, for I do not know."
"And why did I end up back here?"
"The same way you ended up back here a week ago to see me."
"How old am I?"
"Many centuries."
"That I forgot?!"
"That you will remember. You have lived many lives Lady y/n. I fear you will have to live a little more before you find out. You have asked many more questions, go."
You nodded with your fist to your heart and bowed your head. "Thank you, I shall return to them by daybreak."
Odin nodded as well as Frigga, dismissing you from the hall. Once you reached the outside of the doors and they had slammed shut behind you, you began a brisk walk to the garden.

The garden you had first met Loki in was small compared to the vast expanse of the Queen's garden. You wandered through the trees and plants, waiting for one or both of the princes to step out and surprise you. From so far away, you could no longer feel your many soulmates. This, of course, gave you time to think.
You sat on a bench, not unlike the ones in the Queen's garden, and thought.
My parents are dead. I am considered to be an orphan now. I have no family, or none that Odin had seemed to know about. Should I go back? I have my answers now. I miss them, I feel like if one of them walked out from behind a column or tree I would run into their arms. Not that I would like to be hugged, I can't let my guard down.
But that is what humans tend to do for comfort, is it not? I should ask Jarvis more about that when I return.
Your thoughts strayed this way and that and your mood reflected it. Yet you still felt alone.

You ran to the observatory with hurried footsteps after dinner. You reached out for the stars from the upper window, capturing their light and letting it dance between your fingers. You felt lonely.
You seemed to be reliving your moments here on Asgard, remembering your companions back on Earth whilst doing so. It was a tremendous breakthrough for you to learn of your origin and your parents' death. Of course, you were sad, but you had no recollection of them. You felt more conflicted than anything.
The stars seemed to shine a little brighter as you gazed at each of them. You began to count them, knowing there were too many to count and more you couldn't see. But it gave you solace for some reason.
You remembered a snippet of something your mom used to tell you. It sounded obscure to you, yet it connected in an insignificant way.
"I love you as far as the universe goes, and I love you as bright as the stars."
You smiled at the memory, cherishing the few moments you had left on Asgard before heading back to Earth. The sun sank below the horizon of the planet and all the glittering lights winked out one by one as you watched. You realized then that searching for your parents which turned out to be unfruitful, was not the thing you had learned on this trip. Instead, it was that without your soulmates you felt lonely. They were the home you were searching so desperately for.
