Okay so you'll get this later in the chapter but I'm surprised there was even a gif of this, though it is a little annoying to look at

Arriving on Asgard felt like a dream once more, the golden light reflecting off of each spire and tower and city building. You spoke to Heimdall quickly, giving him thanks as he nodded in greeting. Each step on the bridge glowed as the colors moved beneath you. The colors seemed to guide you forward. Walking across the rainbow bridge felt like forever, but when you reached the outskirts of town, it grew busy. It was midday here even though you left early in the morning.

When you reached the end of the bridge, two guards stood there. They had fierce and unrelenting expressions on their faces which melted into friendly ones as they saw you approach.

"Lady y/n. Heimdall and the Allfather knew you would be back. Your palace room is as it was. The Allfather is in another realm currently but you are the first he will speak to when he returns. Have a comfortable stay," they said before turning back to their posts.

You wandered the streets a bit, the hustle and bustle of afternoon vendors creating traffic around you. You heard gossip as you passed, people pointing and saying Thor's and Loki's names. You realized that they had discovered the truth of the matter from when you crashed here a bit ago. You had only been on Earth for a week or two as you learned, but you wondered how long it had been here. Maybe they counted the same days but it was hard to tell.

When you made it to the palace once more, the guards saluted you as you climbed the steps. Being in Earth clothing made you feel unfit to be walking into such a grand palace. But you would soon be well dressed for it as your maids took over and led you away.

You kicked your feet in the bathtub, bubbles splashing around. It was easier being here. In just a short time you knew their culture and their ways. Sure it was technologically advanced and yet they still were accustomed to some things that were considered old-timey on Earth.

You thought about Thor and Loki and how hard it must've been for them to travel between both worlds. Then again, for as long as they'd lived they were used to making themselves comfortable around other cultures. Ruling the nine realms and all that. Thor had explained some of this to you over dinner one night as you had asked. He spoke fondly of each memory he had. It was nice to connect with him.

You missed them a bit but didn't recognize the feeling. Instead, it felt like you had forgotten something, which you had. You had yet to find out your past and your true story. The mere glimpses were not enough.
