The training regimen was set. They tested every aspect and documented high scores. Higher than a human. And Thor and Loki had even volunteered to test for the Asgardian spectrum. Bruce and Tony were fascinated with the data and Natasha had to remind them that at times, they should care more for you than the data. "Don't get too far into it boys," she'd tell them.
You refused to spar against Thor though, scared of the voice inside your head, sitting there quietly, waiting. It took a lot of pleading on your part to deter them from the idea of it; although you already had a good argument, and they weren't willing to push you.
You woke in a cold sweat a few days after the first spar with Natasha. Shaking off a bad dream about people and places you didn't remember. Yet it felt like a memory.
"Jarvis, what time is it?" you asked.
"3:14 a.m.," it responded. You had gotten more comfortable with technology. Stark had taught you the basics and you had the ropes after only a day or two. You used it more now, and it seemed a reliable source to get information from.
"Thank you."
"No problem, Miss y/n. Would you like to go somewhere? When the others have nightmares they like to train, take a walk around the tower, or head to the kitchen," the computer told you.
"Is anyone up right now?"
"Just you, Miss y/n."
"Thank you, Jarvis." You were polite to the A.I. regardless of how Tony treated it.
"My pleasure."
You swung your feet to the floor and slowly got up, stretching. It was just you, yourself, and the sleeping world.
You thought about a few things on your way to the roof. But nothing of significance except for the feeling of wanting to be home. Yet you still didn't know where home was.
You had a spark of a memory in the elevator. This was the second time. Last it was in Asgard with Loki and Thor. Now you were alone.
