After my father departed from the house, leaving behind a lingering sense of urgency, I knew it was time to address an issue that couldn't wait any longer.

With a determined stride, I sought out Ramón, the youngest of us all but, at times, the most stubborn. His nonchalant attitude grated on my nerves, especially considering the gravity of the situation at hand.
Aurelia had endured unimaginable things that we don't even know and not only that but, thrust into a world she barely knew, and yet here was Ramón, seemingly indifferent to her situation.

As we entered my office, I took a moment to gather my thoughts, while Ramón lounged in the chair opposite me, focused on his phone. Snatching the device from his grasp, I fixed him with a stern gaze.

"There's a reason why you're here," I began, my voice carrying a weight that matched the seriousness of our discussion.

"What the hell is wrong with you!" I said.

"What's wrong with me?" Ramón retorted, his tone defensive.

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you guys? You're treating her like a queen just because she's related to us. But guess what? That doesn't make us a family because she's just as much a stranger to us as we are to her."

"What's wrong is your indifference towards Aurelia. She's not just some distant relative; she's our sister, and she deserves our respect and support."

"I know you don't remember her, but that doesn't excuse your behavior. She's the youngest among us, and it's our responsibility to make her feel welcome and protected. You both are going to the same school soon, and I want you to take care to make sure that she is protected at all times.

"I'm not only saying this as your older brother but also as her older brother. I know you have your doubts, but you better act right because as calmly as I'm talking to you, Dad won't tolerate this shit."

I could see the gears turning in Ramón's mind as he processed my words.

"So pull your shit together and be friendly to your sister."

"Sure." He said, with an attitude, leaving my office.

Let's just hope he'll be nice to her before our father loses his shit on Ramón.

After leaving my office, I went to meet up with my dad, who was waiting in the warehouse for me.

"Cristián, have you talked to the Salvatore's?"

"No, they are out of the country."

"Good, I want you to arrange a meeting with Antonio or invite him and his whole family for dinner."
