GoD had actually prepared everything for them: a house, ID, money, background, mostly, everything...

Cale and Choi Han were shortly informed of their new residence after coming to the other side. Looks like he didn't have to do everything himself for once.

'It's pretty big, not bad.' Cale placed the bags near the entrance, inside the house. "Choi Han, I'll go wash up first." He walked away, looking for a bathroom.

"Okay Cale-nim!"

After a bit of rest and unpacking, Choi Han went online to gather information about this world, seeing that it didn't seem to be the world they used to know, while Cale was relaxing on the couch behind him.

"Cale-nim."

"What is it?"

"Look here." Choi Ban pointed at his screen.

Cale leaned over Choi Han's shoulder to see the words scattered across the laptop; "S-class Hunters have Successfully Cleared the SS-rank Dungeon."

Choi Han blushed, feeling Cale's breath along his neck.

The title was confusing, but both Choi Han and Cale could still comprehend what it meant from past knowledge and games they played.

"Does this mean...?" Cale felt that bitter taste spread across his tongue as he frowned.

"Ye- Yes..." Choi Han confirmed.

Cale was tired of all this! All he wanted was to live a fulfilling slacker life.

"Cale..nim..." Choi Han gathered his courage, looking towards Cale with determined yet worried eyes, "I want to become a hunter."

'You've already gone through so much to get back home! Why continue to do dangerous stuff when you've already achieved what you wanted?!' Cale was starting to think of him as a crazy person. He sighed, 'what'd I expect from a protagonist.'

"Will you join me.. Cale-nim?" Choi Han turned back into his puppy self.

'Can I ever have a fucking rest??!!!'

Choi Han looked at Cale, tilting his head sideways cluelessly and cutely, "what's wrong Cale-nim?"

Too much like a puppy! Cale felt his heart skip a beat, blinded by his looks and actions, he tried to cover the light that he emitted but to no avail.

Choi Han continued to stare into Cale's eyes with his pair of big sparkly pitch-black eyes.

Cale rubbed his forehead, "fine.. fine!" He admitted his defeat. "But I'll only apply for a hunter's license, I won't participate in dungeon raids." This decision would surely come back to haunt him one day.

"Thank you Cale-nim!" Choi Han cheered. "I'll protect you if anything happens!"

'Why drag me in the first place if you want to protect me...?' Cale just couldn't understand him despite his vast knowledge.

Days flew by, it was the day of the hunter entrance exam.

The exam was fairly simple; there is an orb, the orb measures your power level upon physical touch, and according to that orb, your power is determined. Simple enough, right? Well it's not! Especially for Cale and Choi Han. As they touch the orb, separately, the orb broke for the two of them.

"Huh? How can this be?!" The examiner exclaimed in shock, "the measuring device shouldn't break that easily... unless you're S-class...!" The examiner paused, to register the information that came out of their very mouth. "You—You're an S-class!! I- I have to inform boss!" The examiner ran off quickly. "Stay there, don't move, I'll be back soon!!"

'I'm screwed, aren't I?' Cale stood there, rethinking his life decisions.

Shortly, the examiner came back with an old, and a bit short, man.

The grandpa wore a luxurious suit, with their wrinkly fingers decorated with rings of many kinds. "You, what's your name?" The old man said, arrogantly.

Cale stared at the geezer, already knowing what he is; the corrupted president of a powerful organization or something along those lines.

"Are you going to answer me?" The old man frowned.

"Cale Henituse."

"What?" The geezer was left off guard.

"Didn't you hear me? My name is Cale Henituse." Cale repeated.

"Ha! Look who's acting arrogantly just because they awakened as an S-class due to luck!" The geezer provoked him, forgetting the fact that he will die from any S-class out there. "Do you even know who you're talking to? I'm the president of the awakener agency!"

And Cale was right on point. "I don't care, I'm not planning on becoming a hunter anyways." Cale walked away, leaving the man speechless.

"That—how dare he ignore me?!"

Cale was now standing outside, on his phone, waiting for Choi Han to come out.

"Hello."

Cale looked up from his phone, greeted by the smile of an unfamiliar man. "Hi?" He replied.

"Are you Cale Henituse?" The man asked, he had blonde hair with almost the same color pair of eyes.

He was handsome, and Cale didn't like that, those type of people are usually very.. powerful... he gulped down the feeling. "No." Cale said with a stoic face, almost impossible to tell whether he was lying or not.

The man continued to smile.

The smile made Cale uncomfortable. The smile was very fake. Why was he even pretending to smile anyways?

"You shouldn't lie, you know? That's a very bad habit if it continues." His smile, ever so unwavering. "I saw you back there, talking with the president."

'Oh, so he's a stalker now?' Cale gave him a very obvious stare that spoke his thoughts.

The guy chuckled a bit at his actions. "Why don't I introduce myself first? My name is Sung Hyunjae, I'm an S-class hunter, and also the president of the Jupiter guild." Hyunjae pulled his hand out for a shake. "And you?"

"You already know."

"Not directly from you though."

Cale sighed before reintroducing himself, "Cale Henituse."

Hyunjae continued to smile, anticipating something.. like a handshake.

"What do you want?" Cale just wanted to get this over with, he had to go back to Choi Han anyways.

There was a moment of silence.

Then Hyunjae spoke, "aren't you going to shake my hand?" His hand was still waiting in the air.

Cale shook it quickly, then went back to business, "so?"

"Join my guild." Hyunjae said bluntly. "If you join—

"No." Cale cut him off. "You heard me when I was talking to the president of the awakener agency, I'm not planning to be a hunter." Cale walked forward a few steps, "if you're done, then I'll get going." He walked away from the creep.

Hyunjae turned around, watching Cale as he went inside the building, gone and out of view. "I don't think you know what a hunter is, we hunt down our prey until the very end."
