Long Time (Klaroline)

The Beginning

     In the 2000s, Caroline feels numb. She walks through the woods, her mom always told her to not step foot in the woods. She's gone. Her dad is gone, as well. She is all alone now. Ten years old, and all alone. Caroline and her mother lived on the outside edges of the town, always kept to themselves. Her mother, Liz Forbes, wanted to make sure that Caroline will never know of the dangers that are the vampires, and wolves. 

    She hears a twig snap, and said, "Who's there?"

        Another twig snapped, and she hears a loud growl. She screamed, turned around and ran the other way. Little did she know what chased her was a wolf. The black wolf caught up to her, and tossed her against a tree. She groggily looked up at the huge beast, and screamed, "HELP! HELP. Please!"

       Unbeknowest to her, there was other creatures that lurked in those woods, which happens to be vampires. The Blonde vampire known as Rebekah, heard the girl, and sped to her. She found the wolf standing over the little girl, and clawing at her body. The girl laid unconscious, now. Rebekah sped over, and tossed the wolf away. The wolf growled at Rebekah, and moved to attack her, when Kol, Rebekah's brother, sped towards the wolf, knocking it on the ground. Kol and Rebekah both fought with the wolf, till Kol picked up a branch and threw it at the wolf. The branch landed in the wolf's chest. It collapsed, and ended up turning back into it's human form after it died. Neither vampire recognized the wolf. 
 

     Rebekah went to the little girl, seeing her all bloody. Rebekah heard a heartbeat, so she picked up the girl, and sped to the mansion. She walked inside with Kol at her side, "Lijah. We have a problem. Bekah brought home a stray."

      Rebekah said, "She is not a stray! She is a child, and she is hurt!"

    Eliah appeared in the living room, and said, "What is it?"

       Rebekah said, "A wolf was going to kill her, I couldn't leave that happen. She is still a child."

           Kol said, "What was she doing out there all alone?"

    Rebekah shrugged, and said, "I'm taking her upstairs to clean her up, and wait till she wakes."

        Her brothers nodded, and Rebekah went upstairs with the little girl. She took her to her room, and cleaned the little girl up. Rebekah found a shirt for the little girl to wear for now. She feels horrible that happened to such a small child. 

     A few hours later, Caroline woke up with a gasp, and in pain. She didn't remember how she got inside of a bedroom. She thought the wolf was going to kill her. Rebekah said, "Hello, little one."

      Caroline screamed at the voice, but looked to her side to see a blonde girl sitting at her bedside. Caroline said, "Where am I?"

        "You are at my home. I saved you from that horrible wolf. Now, I have something here that will heal your wounds, if you will drink it."

   Caroline nodded, and Rebekah handed her a glass filled with a red watery liquid. Caroline looked at it weird, and Rebekah said, "Strawberry Lemonade."

      Caroline nodded, and drank it all. She instantly felt better, and had a bit of energy. She looked at the shirt, and lifted it, revealing the wounds healing. She said, "What was that? How am I healed? Who are you?"

       Rebekah said, "My, my full of questions. I am Rebekah, what's your name, and how old are you?"

         "Caroline Forbes, and I am ten."

    "Why were you all alone in the woods?"

           "My mom died. I am all alone, now."

    Caroline had tears falling down her cheeks, and Rebekah said, "I'm sorry, Caroline. You can stay with me and my brothers. We can use the company."

     Caroline nodded, and Rebekah hugged her. Rebekah felt bad for little Caroline. Ten years old, and no parents. Rebekah held the girl, till she cried herself to sleep. When Caroline fell asleep, Rebekah carefully, laid her down, and tucked her in. Rebekah left the room, and went downstairs to the living room, seeing Kol, Elijah, and Niklaus. Klaus said, "Why are you bringing home strays?"

    Rebekah said, "She has no one, Niklaus. Her mom died, and she is all alone. I say we keep her."

        Kol said, "She is not a pet, Bekah."

   Elijah said, "I am sure she has some family, here."

       Rebekah said, "She is sleeping, we can find out in the morning."

         From that day on, Caroline became part of the Mikaelson family. The four siblings raised her, and helped her. Caroline had no family left. Her dad died of a heart attack, and her mother died of cancer. They both were the only child. Her grandparents were in homes, not able to take care of the little girl. So the siblings stepped up, and took care of her. 

      After Caroline's 19th birthday, that's When someone found out about Caroline, they threatened to use her against Niklaus, so he left her in the care of his two friends, Damon and Stefan Salvatore. Niklaus compelled Caroline to forget about the Mikaelsons, which left a huge gap in her memory, which she figured it might've been horrible memories so she forgot them. Damon and Stefan made sure Caroline never asked about who raised her after that attack. All Stefan told her was that their father found her, and took her in.
