Adhvik's pov
We have a meeting with Maheshwari's. Me and dad are going to attend the meeting. Ora... Brinda will be there, too.
Me and dad left for Maheshwari's corporations. We were escorted to the boardroom. Mr. Mehra, Mr. Goenka, Ms. Shekhawat, and Mr. Mittal was already settled there.
Where is... stop it, Adhvik!
We were settled on our seats when the door of the boardroom opened, revealing Brinda. She was wearing her usual blazer with a pair of trousers, her waist length hair tied in a ponytail.
Her black eyes were searching for her brother, but in the process, they met mine, and she quickly averted her gaze.
As soon as she found Mr. Mittal, she got settled beside him. I have always admired her professionalism. I mean, you can tell just by the way she talks, if she is talking to the Ceo of her company or her brother.
Flashback
(3 years and 4 months ago)I was working in my office. I joined the company a month ago. There is a dispute going on regarding a project. The client wants Rathore's and Mittal's to collaborate for it, but neither dad nor the Mittal's would agree to it.
But the thing is the project is very important. Russo group will enter Indian market with this project only, so they want the best services, and thus, they came up with this stupid condition.
I heard a knock on the door and it was my secretary Naina Khanna.
"Mr. Rathore, Ms. Brinda Mittal, M.D. of Mittal Enterprises is here and wants to have a word with you." Ms. Khanna said.
"Send her in." I replied.
Brinda Mittal.I heard a knock on the door, followed by someone's footsteps. I got up from my chair as the woman entered.
"Ms. Orange juice?" I almost shouted in disbelief.
"Brinda, Brinda Mittal!" She clarified in a highly professional tone.
She is wearing a white shirt along with a blue blazer and a pair of trousers of the same color. Her waist length hairs were left free while her black eyes were staring deep into my soul. With the perfect amount of makeup, she is standing here ready to snatch the career of any model with utmost ease.
No wonder she is pretty. I thought i would never get to see her after that day, but i don't know which situation is worse?
"Mr. Rathore? Back to earth!" She said sternly.
"Ye..ah! So how come you here, Ms. Orange juice?" I asked, shrugging my shoulders. Her fingers curled into a tight fist. I won't be surprised if it ends up on my face the next moment.
"Mr. Rathore, stop with this childish attitude of yours! I am here to discuss work, so let's do that." She said, taking a deep breath, and i can really sense how much she controlled herself from shouting.
"Yeah, sure!" I said.
"I am here to talk about the Russo project. We will accept the collaboration offer, and i expect you people to grow up and accept it as well!" She stated sternly with utmost confidence.
"Well, Ms. Orange ju... Mittal, dad would never agree to this collaboration!" I replied, earning a death glare from her.
"Mr. Rathore, call me freaking orange juice one more time, and I'll sue you!" She stated with a dangerously calm tone.
