Jared: You were standing in the never ending photo line at the Vancouver Supernatural convention. This was Jared's photo line, and every single fan in the event was probably there to meet their idol.

You included.

You see, Jared wasn't just a hot guy on a TV show to you. You'd been watching the show since you were 18, and in all honesty, Jared and saved your life. His character was played beautifully, and all the work he put in really showed. But, in real life too, Jared was the one who called out to you. He was so appreciative, motivating and amazing that he pulled you back to earth, and you finally were able to control your life.

You majored in journalism, and wrote many an article and review on the show. As you neared the end of the line, you feared your nerves would overcome you, and began to shake. "Dammit, pull yourself together" you whispered to yourself, taking a deep breath and clenching your fists. The lady at the door finally motioned you to go into the autograph room, and with one last breath, you did.

He was talking and laughing with the photographer when you went in, but he looked up as soon as he heard the door. His beautiful bronze hair hit the light and shone in every direction as he moved towards you, firm arms outstretched. You leant into his hug smiling, as he muttered a hello.

"Holy crap, they really weren't exaggerating when they called you a giant!" You murmured into his ear, his hair ticking you nose. He laughed as he pulled away, looking down at your 5'4 self. He raised his eyebrows at your hobbit form, trying hard not to laugh.

"Well, you are kind of small." He counter balanced, eyeing you up and down. Surprisingly, you felt comfortable around him, laughing with him.

"Well, my 'small' self feels personally offended!" You winked, letting him know you were joking. He decided to play along.

"Well, maybe you shouldn't have called me a giant!" His hands were placed gingerly in a cross, taking a defensive stance. In a way, you had no way to compete with this. If Jared wanted to look intimidating or defensive, his 6'5 self didn't have to try that hard. The man was literally the size of the Chrysler building. Mockingly, you leaned to one side and put your hand loosely on your hip, not even trying to compete.

"Maybe you shouldn't be like a freaking beanstalk in the first place! You're like, a foot taller than me, Jared!" Your lips twitched as you spoke, struggling to keep your calm. Jared on the other hand, kept his cool the whole way through, the bastard. Just shows how good an actor he is, and is a testament to how he struggles on set. If you thought this was difficult to keep a calm in, you should have seen what they did to Misha.

"Oh, so now I'm a beanstalk?" He questioned, voice cracking a little at beanstalk. You paused to compose yourself before replying.

"Yeah, you have a secret fetish for them. In private, you obsess over the fairytale, Jack and the beanstalk."

"I think that's you..." He straight faced his way through.

"Nope. I've seen the beanstalk fan fiction you write. You can't lie to me Sasquatch" you waggled your finger at him.

"Kink shaming me already?" He teased, almost losing it.

"Hey! You wrote the smut!" At this, he loses it, cracking up, all teary eyed. This of course makes you crack up too, and you exhale a large amount of air from your mouth. The stupid sound is also highly amusing, leaving you two giggling like idiots. After a while, Jared is finally able to speak.

"Oh my god, that was great. You'd be awesome on set, we kinda enjoy teasing each other like that." Your heart stopped, sobering you up. Jared said you'd be good on set, which is like, the highest compliment ever!

"Really? I'd call it emotional and mental warfare rather than teasing!" You giggled, looking up at him. He was so nice in person, a really genuine man. A part of you was sad you'd have to leave him. But, then again, everybody does.

"Yeah, I guess. So..." He paused, trying to break the silence. "I never got your name?" You carried on talking for another 10 minutes or so, way longer than you were supposed to. In fact, the lady who was managing the photo ops was getting uber annoyed.

"We should probably take the picture" you whispered to Jared, as she began to freak out with the camera guy, pointing to a giant clipboard. He nodded his head, and signalled for the camera guy to take the picture. Afterwards, you started to say goodbye.

"Thanks for this Jared, it was really nice meeting you". He grinned at you, and pushed his hair out of his face.

"Yeah it was. I feel like I've known you for so long though. Like we're friends or something." When you gave him a look, he added "I don't know, it's weird."

You scoffed and retorted: "you think it's weird? The guy I've been watching on TV for 10 years feels like we're buddies. It's insane." He nodded with you and gave you another hug. He then peered out the autograph room door, looking at the few people left.

"You know what, I'm almost done and I'd love if you came to the green room with me. I think you'd get on super well with everyone?" Oh my chuck. Jared want to be your friend! Oh but what if the cast don't like you? I mean, you'd clicked with Jared, but what if they thought it was weird?

"O uh... Are you sure the cast won't mind?" He laughed thoroughly, tipping his head back.

"Are you kidding?" He demanded. You shook your head nervously. "You're so nice, everybody is. We love meeting the fans, but I don't know, I just feel like I've known you forever. They'll love you!" You agreed hastily, and waited for him to finish up, letting the news sink in... You were friends with Jared freaking Padalecki. Life was weird, man.
