Brinda's pov

Flashback

"I want to tell you something." I told Riddhi, and she looked at me in amazement. She blinks her eyes a few times.

"Look, i already know, but you know it's not possible, right?" Riddhi said.

"It's difficult, but if i try, it's possible!" I said, trying to explain my situation.

"But bri, i would never agree to it!" She replied.

"But why, Riddhi?" I asked.

"Because i am straight and have a boyfriend!" She said.

"Ohhh.... what?" I frowned in confusion.

"Look, it's okay if you are into girls, but i am not and...." She continued her blabbering when i smacked her head.

"Crackhead! I am dating Adhvik?" I told her.

"Wha..at? Adhvik Rathore?" She asked.

"Yeah."

"Mr. Abhimanyu Rathore's son Adhvik Rathore?" She asked again.

"Yeah."

"The managing director of Rathore Group of Co's?" She asked again! Ugh!

"Yeaaah! Why are you asking all this! I am dating Adhvik Rathore. I love him, okay, but why did you think i am into girls?" I said, my voice shifting from annoyance to confusion.

"How about you never dated in 25 years of your life?" She pointed.

"Its because i never found Adhvik before." I told her.

"Chessy much!" She teased.
"But bri! What about your families?" She asked, the same question which forced me to hold back my feelings for so long.

"Riddhi! I really tried not to let my feelings take over my sane mind, but they did. I know it'll be difficult, but i am sure Papa will understand me." I told her.

"Okay! I hope everything goes well! Btw how long have you been dating?" She asked as i gulped.

"A... a month." I said in a voice, barely audible.

"A WHAT?" She shouted, tearing my eardrums.

"You are dating for a month, and you didn't bother to tell me!! When me and agastya and I started dating, you were the first person to know!" She huffed in betrayal.

"You are also the first person to know this." I tried to convince her. Keyword being tried.

"Seriously, you knew the day Agastya proposed to me. This Adhvik! I hate him even more now." She whined. Such a kid!

"Don't say that. He didn't deny me to tell you or something." I defended.

"Seriously, now you are defending him!" She huffed dramatically.

"Riddhi! Adhu is a really nice guy, trust me. Just because of a business rivalry, i can't leave him. We decided to keep it secret for the time being!" I said, knowing she was convinced five minutes ago and is now just pulling my leg.

"Adhu? Hmm, hmm. Then you find Agastya calling me cupcake cringe!" She said and chuckled.
