Chapter 10

"THIS MAY HURT JUST A LITTLE" THE ENTIRE ROOM waited for Bella to let out the same cries, to see if she was immune but as time went on nothing semeed to happen

Aro let out a gleeful laugh but Jane was the opposite. She looked beyong angry that she couldn't harm Bella

"Remarkable! She confounds us all. So what do we do with you now?"

"you already know what you're going to do, Aro" one of the men, Marcus, from the throne spoke up. His tone almost sounded bored, like he'd want to be anywhere but here but Athena couldn't help but realise his eyes were still on her

Caius: "She knows too much. She's a liability" Aro sighed agreeing with them both but he found it such a shame

"That's true. Felix" immediately a guy went forward and moved to Bella but Caleb moved her around before pushing him over. A different guy had his hands around Alice's throat as she went to move and a one stood in front of Edward and one more in front of Athena too

Caleb got thrown back and smashed into the floor by his throat but when the guy turned to Bella he got up again and pushed him over. The moves were fast, in a blur for any normal human but everyone else in the room could see the fight between the pair and it ended up with Caleb on his knees in front of the thrones

"Please! No! Please, please!" Bella shouted and the man in charge stopped Felix from killing Caleb
"Kill me, kill me! Not him" she panted. Aro turned to Bella and moved closer whislt Felix faced Caleb to them

"How extraordinary. You would give up your life.. for someone like us. A vampire. A soulless monster"

"Just get away from her" Caleb said as he tried to move away from Felix but the hold on him was too strong

"You don't know a thing about his soul" Aro let out a sigh

"This is sadness. If only it were your intention to give her immortality" he moved closer to bella, his teeth ready but Athena quickly lifted her arm, sending the guard that was stopping her from moving, Demetri, into one of the pillars across the other side of the giant room

All attention turned to Athena at the action, the Cullens eyes all wide as they watched

"You're not touching her. Bella is under my protection. So is Caleb" she raised her hands again and this time sent Felix flying away from Caleb right over to where Demetri was and when they went to speed back over Aro lifted his hand up, stopping them from touching Athena

If this was an hour ago she wouldn't have been able to use as much power, but the adrenaline and her mate bond back in place was giving her all she needed right then
