And that is when those three words I have never thought I would ever say to a man, escaped my lips.
"I love you."
Alex stared at me wide eyed.
"You do?"
I laughed nervously wondering if he was still upset with me.
"I do."
"I've been waiting for those words." He smiled, enhancing his beauty.
"Do you want to have coffee later and talk? I finally accept you."
I saw him start to tear up.
Fuck. What did I do now?
"Are you alright? I'm sorry what did I do?" I stammered.
He chuckled.
"No no you're fine. I love you too."
It felt weird to hear a man say that to me.
"If you want we can go back to my house to let my parents know we are mated."
"Yea that would be fun."
I heard the bell ring.
"Fuck! I gotta get the fuck outta here!"
"I'll write you a pass."

As soon as school ended I ran right over to math class waiting for Mr. Salvatore to come out.
"Hello." I hear him say.
"Shit! You scared me."
He laughs.
"Let's go."

Dinner went extremely well. We talked for hours on end.
"So do you want to go back to my house?"
"Of course."
As we walked into the door I saw a note on the fridge.
'Hello River,
We have took off to fight the Rogues. We know you still have to find your mate, so we left without you. I hope all is well. We will be back in two months.
Love you.'
"Oh well. I guess we have the house to our selves." I winked at him.
"You sure?"
"Fuck yea lets do it."
And we headed off to my bedroom.
