Jacaerys' pov

I lead the hundreds of troops onto the battlefield outside of Kings Landing. Several soldiers from The Greens run out into the battlefield as Sunfyre and Aegon land several feet away from me. We climb off of our dragons and make our way to one another.

"Aegon." I nod as I place my hand on the hilt of my sword. "Jacaerys." He nods as well mimicking my movement. "You have spilled the blood of my family, of your true Queen, and you must pay. Surrender now and you will be offered a fair trial. Refuse and I will have no choice but to destroy you and your men." I offer and he laughs. "You destroy me? You are remarkably stupid nephew." He smiles and I glare at him. "You want me to surrender?" He asks as he steps toward me. "I would prefer it." I shrug as I step forward as well. He laughs again and quickly unsheathes his sword. I unsheathe mine as well as I block his incoming blow. The troops take that as their sign and start to attack as Aegon and I continue to clash our swords together.

Rhaella's pov

I hear a commotion in the hallway and I back away from my door. I look outside to see the hundreds of troops and the dragons from both sides clashing. My eyes widen seeing Vagar fighting with The Greens and a sting of betrayal moves through my body. I hear someone unlock my door and I press my back against the opposite wall.

I gasp as I see Anastasia holding my armor and swords. "Hello, Princess." She smiles and I glare at her. "You betrayed me." I growl out and she sighs. "Yes, I did. But the Queen threatened my family. I had to protect them." She shakes her head and my eyes slightly widen. "What?" I breathe out quietly. "And besides I'm helping now." She says as she makes her way over to me and straps my armor over my body. "Why are you helping?" I ask as I glance back at her. "Betraying you was the worst thing I have ever done. You were my best friend and that guilt broke me." She says with a quivering voice. "So I'm doing what I can now to try and apologize for my actions." She says and I sigh and look back at her.

"What did Aemond tell you?" I ask with a small smile as I strap my swords to my belt. "Everything you told him." She shrugs and my eyes widen as I hear banging on the door. I look out the window and my eyes widen seeing Valathore coming toward the tower. "Get back!" I yell as I grab Anastasia's hand and run out of the cell. I take cover behind the wall. I squeeze my eyes shut as I hear the cell wall being slashed apart. I stand up to see Valathore hanging on the side of the tower.

"Come with me." I say as I look down at Anastasia. "I'll distract the guards just go." She says and I shake my head and take her hands in mine. "Ana, please." I beg and she smiles. "I can't." She smiles as a tear rolls down her cheek. I unsheath one of my daggers and place it in her hand. "I love you." I say as I close my eyes and lean my forehead to hers. "I love you too." She says and I break away from her.

"I forgive you." I whisper to her and she smiles. "Thank you."'She whispers back and I nod and climb on Valathore's back. I look back at Anastasia as the guards break through the door. She kills two guards but they overcome her and I watch in horror as she is stabbed to death. Valathore flies to the battlefield as tears stream silently down my cheeks.
