Stefan's POV
As I collect my schedule for Mystic Falls high school, I look over my shoulder and spot Elena Gilbert, the doppelgänger for a woman I thought I could forget, or should say, wanted to forget. I watch as she talks to her friend, leaning against her locker, before my attention is shifted by the sound of clicking heels which belong to another brunette who stops before Elena.
My whole world freezes as I stare at Natalie Gilbert, remembering the natural beauty on her from the night I first ever saw her. Even from here, I can see her emerald green eyes which stand out against her long brown hair. "What are we talking about?" Natalie wonders as the two girls give her a small smile. "You just missed Caroline." Bonnie informs.
"Oh, I didn't. She stopped me before I even got through the doors." Natalie replies making the girls chuckle before Bonnie looks around. "Major lack of male real estate." She mutters making Natalie smirk as Elena shakes her head. "Look at the shower curtain on Kelly Beech. She looks like a hot- can I still say 'tranny mess'?" Bonnie questions.
