Wooyoung's pov

"I, Song Mingi, reject you as my soulmate!" Mingi exclaimed hastily, his face stone cold as he glared at me.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" I asked, realizing I was speaking Korean fluently and could no longer understand English.

"He's trying to reject you, but as he doesn't know your full name he cannot. I wouldn't tell him your last name, Wooyoung," Hongjoong spoke to me with a kind tone, his voice soft as he did.

"What? I haven't even done anything to deserve that!" I exclaimed, now glaring towards one of the men I idolized.

"Now listen to me, and you listen well: unless I've truly harmed you, you shouldn't reject me! Even if you don't want to be a couple or anything, the least you could do is let us continue living! Why would you throw away your dream- throw away my dreams as well?! Because you don't want me?" I scoffed and then listened as Hongjoong translated to Mingi for me.

"No, now it's your turn to listen to me! Even if the rest of my group are happy in their pairs, I couldn't care any less if I would be happy with you! You don't know my life- you don't know the hardships I've faced- all the people who've been hurt at my expense! Now, tell me your name so I can finally leave this life!"

Hongjoong, once again, translated between us.

"No. You do not get to end my life just because you wish to end your own. Please, Mingi, give me a week- two weeks! If you're still so set on wanting to escape... I guess I'd have no choice but to go with you."

"Fine by me."

"You know this is on national television, right? Wooyoung, I'm sorry to say this, but you're fired." The camera director claimed, and once it was translated, my heart began to ache.

"Now, I don't even have my job. I only have you."

"We'll take care of you, Wooyoung, even if Mingi will not." Seonghwa offered a kind smile and gently held my hand in his.

"Thank you. I appreciate it," I said, smiling softly. Seonghwa nodded in response.

Mingi scoffed and rolled his eyes, "you're really gonna care for him? Seriously?"

"Song Mingi, you need to learn to care more. Why on earth would you give up such pure happiness?" San exclaimed, shaking his friend by his shoulders.

Mingi shook San's hands off his shoulders and glared at him.

"You're all so stupid to be happy in pre-chosen pairs! Would you really choose to date each other if you had a choice?!"

"I know I would! Even if there was a choice in the matter, I would still choose Hongjoong over anyone else. Why do you think we're getting married?! So many people choose to be friends instead, so why can't you?" Seonghwa asked, taking Hongjoong's hand in his own.

"Fine. You get two weeks, Wooyoung. How are you even going to come with us? Don't you have things keeping you in New York?" Mingi asked.

"No. My job was all I had here. I'll pack my things and get a flight ticket to South Korea, I guess," I sighed, shook my head, and walked off set.

I hastily grabbed my bag and keys, then led the seven idols out of the studio.

"I'm sorry that this is so sudden; you guys shouldn't need me to slow you down. You've got a busy life, and I'll only be a hindrance." I said, my voice soft.

"Dont talk about yourself like that, Wooyoung. Although he isn't, the six of us are glad to meet you. We hope you'll be able to win him over," Yeosang said, slinging his arm over my shoulders.

"Thank you. I hope so too," I said, smiling shyly. Mingi scoffed from behind us before tugging Yeosang's arm off of me.

"Don't touch him, Yeosang. He doesn't deserve your pity."

"If I hear one more hateful word out of him, then I'll wring his neck..." yunho claimed. Mingi looked shocked at his best friend.

"Just leave me alone, Wooyoung. Stay here."

"I deserve a shot at having my soulmate by my side. Please, Mingi, just give me two weeks while you also try to get to know me. That's all I ask; try to make this work before you throw it all away." I was close to begging at this point.

  "Fine."

"Thank you, Mingi. Now, how on earth do I pack a lifetime of things to go with you?" I asked, looking towards the celebrities around me.

"We'll help you, and you'll send them with you on the airplane to Korea. You may not be able to bring everything, but you'll be able to bring your favorite things." Seonghwa led the celebrities to their van as I got in my car.

The van followed me to my apartment, where the eight of us began to pack my bags. When I began to pack my medications, Mingi stood behind me, a bit shocked at the bottles.

"What are these for?" He asked.

"This one is for my anxiety, and these three are for my fibromyalgia."

"You have anxiety and fibromyalgia? How will you be able to cope with an idol life if you decide to?" Mingi asked.

"I'll just have to stay regular with them, and I'll be fine." I smiled softly at his bit of care that broke through his fit of anger.

  "Are you sure?"

  "Yes."
