High school AU

In high school, there are crushes and there are relationships. And there are those people who are single. And sometimes, best friends have crushes on each other. Or one friend has a crush on another, but it isn't rocipricated.

That's kind of what happened between two friends. Two best friends.
Nick/ Sapnap and Clay/ Dream.
They were best friends since childhood, basically growing up together. They had always been close, but sometimes Sapnap would wonder if he liked Dream more than just friends.
Dream wouldn't. Dream just thought they were best friends. Dream thought that they were more like brothers than anything else.
That's why Sapnap hadn't said anything yet. Because he knows that Dream saw them as brothers.

It was the same with two other friends. Karl and George. They had grown up together, and had even dated for a little while. But they broke up, ending things on good terms. Some people might find it weird; two past partners staying friends. But they didn't.

Karl and George moved to the area that Sapnap and Dream grew up in. And moved to their school.
So I wonder how that would work out.

I jumped at a small bang on my bedroom window. I glanced over and saw Dream, my best friend and the guy I had a slight crush on, standing on my lawn. I scoffed, moving towards my window and opened it.

"Cmon Pandas!! We're going to be late!" - Dream yelled.

"Yeah yeah I'm coming!" - I yelled back, shutting my window and grabbing my bag.

I ran downstairs, quickly hugging my little sister and my mum, before leaving the house. I walked towards where Dream was standing, looking up at him as he waved.

"Hey Pandas!! You do all your homework?" - D

"Uh- y-yes..? Yes!! Of course I did." - S

Dream looked at me, and I instantly knew that I hadn't fooled him. He grabbed my arm and pulled me away from my house, so now we were walking to school.

"Cmon, we get to school fast enough; YOU have chance to do your homework." - D

"Thanks.. did you do your art homework?" - S

"Yep. It's worth like half of my grade so I've been working on it for ages. My mom's gonna drop it off because it's too heavy to carry." - D

I hummed, smiling as me and Dream walked closer to the school. Dream lived further from the school than I did, so he would wake up early every morning to walk to my house.
I appreciated the thought, and the time spent together.
