Personally, I don't appreciate characters who play with others' lives under the guise of making things better. However, the main leads exhibit beautiful chemistry, and the story adds spice with an evil step-sister, a nice step-sister, an even more evil step-mother, a good mother, a backstory, trauma, and plenty of hot chemistry. While there's a minuscule betrayal and a growl that might not be entirely satisfying, it's an overall enjoyable read—a rollercoaster with good characters and amazing side characters. The book's beautifully written characters even spawn almost 10 other books, making you want to explore more. Give it a try!
