Chapter 12: Ryuen and Friends Jumping Hosen

"Good morning, Ayanokouji-kun!"

"Good morning!"

"Hi!"

It's 8 AM, and I was going to have breakfast with the girls from my class. I didn't expect them to pay me a visit this early, but they said something about "the early birds get the worm" and "we can't let those starved wolves steal their meal.".

I understood the phrase and their words, but still had no idea what they meant or how they related to me.

Anyway, because I didn't expect their early ambush, I couldn't drag Horikita with me this time.

A miscalculation on my part.

We went to the dining room and ordered breakfast. I got myself 2 dishes of pancake and a glass of chocolate milk. When we were waiting for the food, Maezono seemed to remember something.

"Ne, have you heard about what happen earlier this morning?" Maezono asked smugly.

From her expression, she must be confident that the others hadn't known about it and that she was one of the few to know.

"No." Satou shook her head. "What happened?"

"There's a rumor that Ichinose was making points illegally." Maezono whispered.

"What?" The girls exclaimed.

Now, that's surprising.

"For real?" Karuizawa asked.

"Yeah. You're not kidding, right?" Ichihashi followed.

"Where did you hear this?" Matsushita seemed to invest in the story.

"From Manabe-san of Class C."

"What did she say?"

"She said a bunch of sheets of paper were stuck on Class B students' doors where their rooms locate." Maezono spoke in an excited voice.

"And?" Matsushita tilted her head.

"On the paper, it stated that Ichinose currently posses a huge amount of illegal points."

"But that's just a baseless statement, right?" Matsushita shook her head. "Who would believe something like that?"

"Obviously not many." Maezono raised her index finger. "However, there was a name attaching to the paper. That's why it turned to a huge deal."

"Who?" Karuizawa frowned. She probably got tired of how Maezono told the story. "Don't keep us hanging like that."

"Fufu." Maezono smirked. "The name was Ryuen."

"Him?"

"That's not a credible source." I spoke.

"Yeah, that's why I said it's a rumor." Maezono answered me with glittering eyes.

Were her eyes like that yesterday?

"I see." I didn't want to do anything about it at the moment, but spreading this kind of rumor might damage our alliance with Class B. "I understand this story is intriguing, but I suggest we refrain from discussing this rumor or forming any conclusion based on it. This might affect our relationship with Ichinose and Class B."

"If Ayanokouji-kun said so."

"Ayanokouji is so nice."

"Yeah, he's really kind."

"How caring." Karuizawa pouted and glanced at me.

It seemed she was not quite happy about it, though I didn't understand why.
