Shibuya
Outside the veil

Nanami, Megumi and Takuma stood by the veil, all about to enter. They had been given the go-ahead to begin taking down the veil when Nanami stopped looking over his shoulder, sensing something off. Out of nowhere, a window smashed as DK fell to her knees, panting, blood pouring from her head. Nanami and Takuma had never seen DK in the flesh before, so they were immediately on edge. However, Megumi was taken aback, whispering. "DK?"

DK patted herself off her shattered face, healing as she glanced over. "Am I finally in Shibuyaa? I can't believe I got Shinjuku confused instead..."

"W-What are you doing here? You're meant to be in Kyoto?!"

"97 mirrors. That's how many I had to transport through to reach here. Each one breaks my body down, quite a nightmare."

Nanami continued to glare at DK, a little uneasy but lowering his guard. "So this is the Cursed Spirit that bonded with your first-year classmate? Is there a reason you are here?"

DK approached the veil, reaching out as it reacted, blocking her entrance and making her step back. "Y/N. Y/N had decided to spend the evening in Shibuya while I was in Kyoto."

"He what?!" Megumi flinched. "He's in there right now!?"

"I lost my connection with him an hour ago; he's alive, but... I need to get in there now."

"It seems this barrier is blocking regular humans and supposedly higher-up Cursed Spirits like you from getting in or out," Takuma commented, curious. "Sorry, lass, you'll have to sit this one out until we can lower the barrier."

"That isn't going to happen," she commented, thrusting her fist into the barrier—the force connected against her, fighting to stop her. DK kept pushing against the barrier, bleeding her cursed energy into it now with a tug-of-war. Constantly going against it, she stopped gritting her teeth. "As expected... Megumi, your phone."

Megumi sighed, throwing DK his phone. She looked into the screen, and her reflection showed. Closing her eyes, she reached out her body, going into the screen. Megumi quickly caught his phone as it fell to the floor. He stared at DK, who was now on his phone. She leaned against the side, moving, scrolling up and down his messages bored. "Come on then! I can only stay on this screen for so long, you know. If you step through now, I'll be able to bypass the barrier. Hurry, chop, chop!"

Megumi shook his head, looked at the others, and nodded as the three of them walked through the barrier. Once through, DK climbed out of the phone, which looked like something out of The Ring. She began moving her neck around. "I really hate doing that. That trick isn't going to work twice, though, right?"

"No. Let us get you up to scratch on what's going on." Nanami explained. "At 7 pm, several veils were dropped over Shibuya. Four, to be more precise. One on the outside to stop regular humans and you getting in or out. The second is to prevent us Sorcerers and Cursed Spirits from entering and leaving. The third is to stop humans in the centre from escaping, and the fourth is to prevent Gojo from leaving. Whatever their plan is, it resolves Gojo. Where did you say Y/N was?"

"The last I heard from him, he was on a train heading to Shibuya; I lost connection with him around the time mentioned."

"I see. That means he could be trapped between the second and third barriers, in the heart of the storm. In that case, there is a chance he ran into Gojo, but I'm not going to jump to conclusions. If you wish to help, we can locate Y/N, but first, we need to lower this barrier. We shall meet up with the others."

Everyone stopped hearing Itadori shouting from the rooftop. The words of Gojo being sealed sent everyone into shock.

"Change of plan, we're meeting with Itadori."
