Both Kordell and Andro stayed quiet as Andro drove through the streets. Both don't know what to tell the other or how they could start their conversation.

Awkwardness could be cut through the air.

"So...." Pagsisimula ni Andro pero hindi na niya natuloy ito kasi biglang nagsalita si Kordell.

"Yeah I know so much awkwardness in the air. Ano pang saysay ng usapan natin sa text at tawag kung sa personal hindi man lang tayo makapag-usap ng maayos!? Haaaaaaay ang buhay talaga sobrang gulo." Sabi ni Kordell with as much sarcasm she could muster as she can.

"And here I thought you're not sarcastic."

"Sarcasm can be your best medicine, Mr. Volkov."

"I thought that was laughter, Ms Viel."

"Whoever told you that might be wrong."

"Or you could be wrong."

"I, Kordell Viell, could never be wrong, my dear Volkov."

They couldn't help but laugh at each other.

"If you have this so much sarcasm, why do you doubt your decision of meeting me after the game?"

"Hmmmmmm........ I don't know. I'm kinda nervous meeting the basketball star of the campus. The captain, no less."

"The truth, please Ms. Viell. I know for a fact that you do not care of the status of a person."

"hmmm...... what if I've done something that really made you angry without you knowing? Would you still forgive me?"

"Huh? What would you have done that would make me angry?"

"Just answer the question."

"If you have done that before you met me then I would have thought that you just wanted to be my friend because you wanted to say sorry and stay out of the punishment I am to give you. Pero kung nagawa mo yun while we are friends, maybe I'll forgive you. It really depends on how big." Sagot ni Andro without thinking.

"Y-yeah... ano kasi... ang daming rumors na kumakalat sa campus."

"Really?"

"Yeah! Palibhasa hindi ka nakikibalita kaya wala kang alam."

"I'm not a girl. I do not need to hear rumors going around about me."

"Well.... Who cares sagutin mo na lang."

"Hmmm. Wala akong maisip pero isa lang ang pinakasisiguro ko. I don't want her/him to suffer any kind of humiliation infront of many people. Siguro I'll have it as a blackmail or as an owed favor to me or something along those lines."

"Really? Is that you, Volkov? From what I heard you're not letting anyone have that easy punishment."

"Emotions are far too powerful than any blow I could give. Humiliation only made people hurt, and guilt is far better off than any other emotion, to someone."

"So you're gonna hurt her ..... through emotions? Kumbaga papaibigin mo muna siya bago mo iiwanan?"

"Do I really look that cruel?"

"Well, sa fans mo medyo."

"Those people are fake. Paano ko naman sila seseryosohin kung ayaw nila akong seryosohin."

"Ang lalim ha."

"Hahahaha, so, saan mo gusto kumain?"

"Hmm kahit saan haha... basta hindi mahal. Wala akong dalang pera ngayon eh."

"Hahaha, oo nga pala kinuha ng mga kaibigan mo para hindi ka makatakas sa dare natin."

"Oh shut up."

"Well Money's not a problem. Sagot ko naman ang kakainin natin."

"Ikaw bahala."

"Food trip tayo."

"Ikaw nga bahala since pera mo naman yan eh, but I'm craving for something sweet."

Natawa lang si Andro pagkasabi ni Kordell nun.

KORDELL'S POV

After ng food trip namin ni Andro ay umuwi na kami. He insists on giving me a ride back home pero hindi ako pumayag noong una. I told him that I could call my bestfriends o kaya naman si Manong Driver.

Haaist pero nanaig parin si Andro. He didn't stop the car nor did he give me my phone back which I gave to him dahil feeling ko mawawala sa akin habang nagfofoodtrip kami.

I pouted as we drove towards our subdivision. Nang nasa tapat na kami ng bahay ay pinigilan niya muna akong lumabas.

"Kordell, um... may gagawin ka ba bukas?" he asked na parang nag-aalangan pa.

Napaisip ako. Ano ba bukas? Sabado? Hmmm. Wala naman akong klase ng sabado. Wala rin akong gagawin sa bahay. Magmumuk mok lang ako kasi wala nanaman sila Mommy at Daddy. Wala naman din si Ate. Si Charlotte may book conference na pupuntahan. Si Toni may date or something. Basta may lakad daw siya.

Napatagal siguro yung pag-iisip ko kasi biglang nagsalita ulit si Andro. "A-ano Ok lang naman k-kung may g-gagawin ka eh...It's ." sabi niya pero bago pa sya matapos sumagot na ako.

"I'm free tomorrow." Sagot ko lang with a small smile.

"No, it's fine k-kung .... Wait... free ka?" tanong ni Andro na medyo nashock pa.

Nag nod lang ako before ngumiti siya ng pagkalaki laki. "Yun oh. Sama ka sa akin. Wala rin kasi akong gagawin. Road trip naman tayo."

"Ha? Eh saan naman tayo pupunta?"

"Kahit saan!"

"Sige bukas na lang anong oras?"

"Ikaw bahala."

"Mas maganda kung maaga."

"Sige ba. 5 am gusto mo?"

I looked at him with a deadpanned expression. Sobra na. Hahaha. Tumingin lang siya sa akin bago tumawa. Wala na rin akong nagawa kung di ang tumawa.

"Text na lang tayo." Sabi niya habang napapakamot sa ulo. Um-oo na lang uli ako. Palabas na uli ako ng biglang pigilan nanaman ako. Napakunot ako. Anong problema nito at ayaw akong palabasin?

He went outside and opened my door. Ahh. Yun pala. And then lend me hand to get out of his car. He kissed my hands before going back to his car with a grin.

Andro's POV

I can't stop the grin that has been paste on my face.

This was one of the best day!

Hahaha and here I thought she's like those fake girls.

Where should we go tomorrow? Hmmm....
