~The Promise~ (Sun/Moon X Reader)

~Chapter 26~

You let out a sigh and look up at Noah "Sorry.. I haven't seen her... I should get going.. the Plex is about to close soon.. you should get going to.." you said wanting to change the subject but also not trying to sound too rude.

You really didn't give him a chance to speak because you turn around and walk away from him, only hearing a small bye from him.

You let out a deep sigh and continue walking until you were finally outside of the Pizzaplex.

The sun setting down created a beautiful mix of pink, orange, and blue. You smiled at the sight as you continued your walk to your car.

You wished you could take a photo but your hands were quite full at the moment.

Once you reached your car, you opened the door to the passenger side and carefully set Gregory down. As you were about to close the door, Gregory help onto your hand.

"(Y/n).. do you actually like the twins?.." he asked which almost made you choke on air a bit.

Your gaze slowly went down as you started to get lost in your thoughts.

'Do I really like them?.. or am I just unexplainably close to them?.. what Moon did to me in the Nap area... Sort of turned me on.. but...' you let out a sigh before looking back at Gregory.

"I.. don't really know.. but even if I did.. I don't know how we would work out.. it'd just be strange..." You didn't really know what to say.

They were animatronics. How would it even work out?

"You don't do poly relationships?" Gregory said a bit quietly and that question left you a bit shocked.

"How do you know about that?"

All he does is shrug before answering "I might be twelve but I have my ways of knowing certain things" and right after he said that, he smiled a bit.

You felt slightly concerned for his well being and all you do is let out a nervous chuckle.

You close the door and walk to your side. You open the door and enter your car and start the engine.

You close your door and start to drive away. The ride to your house was just silent, only faint music playing from your radio stopping it from being completed.

Only one question continued to replay in your head. 'Do I actually like them?..'

You look out your window seeing people walking on the sidewalk. Some holding hands while others are just in their own world.

You felt empty, but why?

You look back towards the road. Stopping at a few lights before finally reaching your home. You pull up at the driveway and stop the car. You look at Gregory for a moment and he's already taking off his seatbelt and getting out of the car.

You open your door and exit your car. You open the door to the back seat and grab your stuff before closing the doors and locking your car.

Gregory, who was already waiting but the door, probably wishing you'd hurry up.

You smile weakly as you remember when you first took him in. He seemed so fragile and weak but it turns out he's just a rebel.

You walk to your door and unlock the door and with that Gregory swings the door and runs inside not even bothering to take of his shoes.

"Gregory! Your- shoes..." You tried to call after him but he was already on his way to your room.. or maybe to the restroom, who knows.

You sigh and take of your shoes before closing the door and locking it.
