Chapter 5
*Aaliyah's P.O.V*
The whole way to the party, the car was silent. No talking, not even the radio was on. I was tense from what happened with Trey, and Ty, well he was just in his own little world. He had something on his mind, but I didn't ask because he'd tell me if he wanted me to know.
We turned a corner, and I was surprised by what I saw. Cars lined up and down the block, people dancing and drinking on the front lawn, and the blasting music was the only sound heard down the whole street. This was definitely a good way to start my weekend, I thought while smiling.
Ty pulled up behind a burgundy car, and we both got out, still in silence. I didn't bother worrying about him, because I had my own problems. He took my hand and together we walked through the sweaty and drunk bodies of people. As soon as we walked in, niggas was already calling his name.
"Heyyyy Ty!" Ty broke out in a smile as a slightly taller and older looking guy approached us.
Ty let go of my hand and did the handshake hug that every living male with a penis knew. I always wondered how guys knew what to do. It's like written in the guy code book or something. They had it so easy, rather than us females, who have to deal with periods, feelings, and the whole nine.
Ty talked to all these guys that approached him, and not once turned his attention back to me, or even introduced me. It's like his ass forgot I even existed. That's strike one. I stood there with my arms crossed, and nostrils flaring. He really forgot about me?!
I left his side and went into the kitchen to see Lea chugging down shots like water. This girl was gonna have one hell of a headache in the morning. I quickly ran to her side, she was already a mess and the party just started.
"Yoooo chick, slow down. There's plenty of drinks and they'll be here the whole night." I said, chuckling slightly, and taking the shot she was about to chug down away from her. I hoped she had a ride home, I know she didn't drive. See, Lea purposely doesn't drive to parties, because her main goal is to get fucked up. So, I guess that's her way of being 'responsible'.
"Aye bitch! Don't fuck up the vibe. Who you here with?" She asked, slurring her words and blowing her nasty ass alcohol breath in my face. I turned my nose up, waving my hand in front of my face. Just nasty! She's going to regret this like a bitch in the morning when her head is pounding and her memory is choppy.
"I was here with Ty, but he obviously forgot I existed." I said, rolling my eyes just thinking about him. I looked over my shoulder to see him still talking to his friends, laughing like they was just telling the funniest jokes in the world. Asshole.
"That...that dickhole. You don't neeeeed himmm. Trey might be an-" her sentence was cut off when she unattractively burped, but she picked up right where she left off, "asshole but I...I bet he wouldn't forget you existed and s-stuff." She slurred, sipping out a plastic red cup.
I thought hard about what she just said. Right now, Trey was seeming like the better of the two brothers. Like seriously, who invites a girl to a party and forgets her? Assholes, that's who.
I was about to respond, until I felt a hand wrap around my waist. I knew it was Ty when I smelled his Axe cologne, which was similar to Trey's, but not quite. Now he remembers who he came with? I wanted to have and attitude, I really did, but he was just on strike one, with two to spair.
"Dance with me." He whispered in my ear. I was reluctant to accept, because I smelled the alcohol on his breath, but what the hell? I might as well. It's just a dance, and it's a PARTY! What else are you gonna do?
