A long time ago, when a leaf fell into the barren land— dry and deserted— a tree grew within the devoid land of the world, blossoming colours to the Kingdom of Ahsiam. Arthur, a man was thrown out by his fellow people, after he unleashed something unique within him, something strong and powerful— might even say dangerous.

He was abandoned and exiled, roaming around in the vacant dunes of sand for years trying to find a shelter, a life to live— to survive.

Days got hotter and lands became wider and wider with each step, it seemed like a never-ending maze. Arthur had nowhere to go, nothing to eat nor drink and was sure he had time here, death was near.

But just when he thought all was over, a light shone— or in his case a flower bloomed, erasing all doubts and replacing them with hope. A leaf with dry autumn breeze lingered in the air of the desert, finally when tired resting on the coreless land. The leaf seemed to be just ordinary, but it was strange Arthur, for it had been years since he’d seen a leaf— least felt the breeze of air, whether it just may even be dry. He bent down and picked up the leaf, examining it up close. The crispy red brown autumn leaf pressed between his fingers was still and dead, until it suddenly glowed an eerie blue.

Arthur was speechless, what was this? This strange leaf? With abrupt movement he let go of it, stepping away while the leaf swayed to the ground and the sand swallowed it. Arthur moved closer towards where the leaf disappeared, staring at the spot closely.

To more shock, a green leaf sprouted from the ground. It was full of life, something that was captivated by the sand and dryness. Its beautiful colour brightened up the dreary surroundings with miles of brown beads.

Arthur was tempted by its airness and novelty; how could such a small leaf absorb into the land and create this?

He gawked at the leaf in admiration, when all of a sudden his vision got foggy and dark. He looked around his surroundings, the air was no longer scorching hot, instead cool and moist. He eyed the leaf wondering if it was the reason for the change in weather and the darkness covering over the drab land.

Something fell from the sky and dropped on the leaf—- a transparent like pearl heaved on it sloping down on the land and disappearing. The man who had seen a single drop of water in years was left astonished by the elements of the world.

He gaped at the sky which was covered with thunderous clouds, roaring ever so loudly they reverberated the grounds. A cold drop of water fell on his face, the coolness engulfing inside his body and refreshing his soul. His life had finally changed and averted into greatness; the world had laid their sympathy upon him giving him a reward for his patience over the unendurable sufferings.

End: And that’s how the Kingdom of Ahsiam, the land of witches and warlocks, was created.
