Chapter 10

After about an hour of Harry Chan working hard on their Chemistry project, and North twirling a single strand of hair round her finger-well, she tried twirling it, but her finger was stuck and she was just pretending nonchalantly- as she blatantly stared at him, taking in his beauty, someone knocked at the door.

It was Gerard, North's favourite butler, who came in with a tray full of Bhutanese food.

North smiled at him. Gerard always knew exactly what she craved.

He smiled back at her.

Harry interrupted their 'creepy smile exchange' with an awkward cough.

Gerard excused himself, but not before shooting North one more creepy smile.

"What's this?" He asked, pointing to the food.

"I don't remember. But it's Bhutanese, so it's good." North cheered.

"It's exotic, just like you." North muttered.

"Okay..." Harry shot a her a weird look.

She blushed. The way he looked at her, all evening today, was driving her insane.

North barged into Beverly Hills' Beverly Hills home. She'd decided after Harry left, she had to set some things straight. After all, Beverly had kissed Maddox Jolie-Pitt!

"Hi North." Walnut, Beverly's brother, greeted her.

"Hi." She replied, angrily.

She was suddenly reminded of the fact that Walnut had gotten some serious action with Harry in Bhutan.

Walnut merely shrugged and resumed staring at a picture of... Madonna?

So, apparently, he was pretending to like seventy year old women, when truly, he was into seventeen year old boys.

Strange, North thought to herself.

"North! What's up!" Beverly squealed, as North stormed into her room.

"I saw you kissing Maddox! We had an understanding, that it was either both of us, or neither of us!" She spat.

"Well, I couldn't help it."

"Yeah, right."

"You're such a hypocrite, North! You were with Hot just before that! I know all about it." Beverly yelled.

North was flabbergasted and couldn't come up with a comeback fast enough.

"And don't be so charmed by Hot," Beverly continued. "You're not the only one he's played and you know it! You were never his first choice, anyway!"  She snapped.

And with that, their conversation ended.
