7. Is he stalking Kavya?

Mom picks up cell phone from her bag and dialled someone.

Mom: beta.. mujhe tumhari Udaipur trip wali photos bhejo jaldi.

Other side was Kavya.

On call - Kavya: mom woh bahut sari photos hai. Aapko kaunsi chahiye? Kyuki laptop ghar pe hai. Main college nahi layi.

Mom: no tum mujhe uss din phone pe dikha rahi thi. Jisme kuch pahad aur kuch mandir jaisa kuch tha..

Kavya: ok. Main send karti hu. Par kya hua?

Mom: kuch nahi tu bhej jaldi. Mujhe bas Maya chachi ko dikhana hai.

*twing* *twing*

notification rang on mother's phone.

*Kavya sent about 15-20 photos*

Mom opened it and started scrolling back &  forth.

Mom: mil gaya!! Suniye ji. Pandit ji mil gaya woh insaan.

Dad: kaun?

Mom: Wahi jiske haath par Surya ki nishani hai. Yeh dekhiye. Kya yeh wohi nishaan hai Pandit ji?

She showed them the image.

Pandit: kaun hai yeh insan? Aap Jante hai isko?

Parents: nahi.. Pandit ji. Yeh shayad Kavya ki Udaipur trip par mila tha usse. Isse jyada kuch pata nahi.

Pandit: Sab aise hi nahi hua hai. Jaisa likha hoga inn dono ki kundali mein waise hi hoga.

*at college*

Principal announced something which shocked everyone.

The regular Professor who used to teach literature couldn't able to join college for few months due to some medical reasons, and it's been rumored that he might leave this post considering his health as he has to travel 40km everyday to & fro for college.

And now it was some new professor who's alien to everyone. And for students it was shock because, regular lecturer was amazing when it comes to teaching and in final year replacing him in with new one wasn't good option. They're tensed a bit.

After sometime, bell rang and lectures started.

Today's 2nd lecture was of literature. Some students were eager to meet new professor; not to welcome him. But to create ample troubles for him.

Everyone was busy in their own world, when professor entered Classroom.

*Ahem* he cleared his throat.

Professor: Good Morning Class.

Some students replied with "Good Morning" while few were least bothered.

Professor glanced everywhere and spotted someone and something sparked in his eyes for a split second. A smallest smirk appeared on his face which disappeared quickly.

Kavya's benchmate saw this and nudged Kavya to look up as professor was staring at her with his arms folded against his chest.

Kavya was resting on bench desk leaning putting head down.

Kavya got up hurriedly and apologized for this.

Kavya: Oh.. I'm so sorry for..

Kavya stopped in her mid statement when she looked at Professor. She was shocked equally that of Professor.

Professor: Kavya what a pleasant surprise!

He exclaimed with formal smile.

Kavya: Rudra aap yaha?..

Kavya's benchmate hit her elbow making her realise she just called professor by his name.

Kavya (fumbling/embarrassed): sorry. I mean Rudra Sir aap yaha?

Everyone was shocked. How both know each other?

Rudra: Yes. So, class I'll be your literature professor from today.

Few girls : oh wow! I think we'll be more interested to learn literature from now onwards.

Others giggled at their awkward comments.

Rudra was least bothered about them. He started introduction and rest lecture was spent in general discussion.

Kavya's friend: Anu

Anu: Kavya how you know Rudra Sir?

Kavya: arre bhul gayi. Tumhe bataya toh tha Udaipur trip ke bare mein. Wahi mile the hum.

Anu: ohh accha.

Lecture ended.

Rudra gathered his books, notes and stepped outside class.

While walking out of the class, Rudra had slight smirking smile on his lips. His eyes glowed in glittering orange and blue color for a second. And then everything was normal in next second.

It seemed, he's up to something big. Who is he? What's in sparkling eyes.

**** Evening time ****

Kavya returned home after college.

Family sat for evening snacks.

Kavya: aap logo ko pata hai.. aaj kya hua college mein?

Kavya gleefully told them.

Kavya: mom aapko maine bataya tha na, ek insaan ke bare mein jo mujhe Udaipur me mile the...

Parents glanced each other hearing mention of Udaipur.

Mom just nodded with forced smile on her face.

Mom: hmm.. ha..

Kavya: mom dad woh Professor humare college mein join kiya hai aaj se.. Rudra ji hume literature padhayenge.

Parents were thinking all the dangerous things. Why This person who has Sun tattoo on his wrist following Kavya? Does what Pandit ji said, it's happenin?

Yes. The person having Surya nishani is none other than Rudra.

Coincidentally or by destiny; his name remained same in this janam, like Kavya's.

Family didn't informed Kavya yet of what pandit ji said.
