Chapter 7: First Official Day

"Aryannnnn! Its been more than 5 seconds since we have got the flag to move, can't you hear people honking so loud on us?" Anirudh shouted in my ears.

"Okay okay, I am sorry." I accepted it was my mistake so I started driving after taking a last glance at her.

"Don't ever shout in my ear, I don't want to go deaf like you yet." I said shouting in his ear.

"Okay, buddy." He said smilingly not until he punched me in my stomach and went out of the car.

"Oww! You bloody asshole." I exited my car and locked it that's when I saw the girls coming in. I can't see Nysa anywhere. I started searching for them and that's when she came beside me.

"Searching for someone?" she whispered in my ears but it felt like a magical something happened and I didn't react much just simply nodded.

"Who?" She again whispered and I replied with "Nysa".

"Oh, I see." She tapped on my shoulder that's when I came out of my trance and saw her standing just beside me. I wished for the whole Earth to swallow me whole if not half. I was so embarrassed that I instantly ran from there shouting for Anirudh and I can hear her chuckling.

"Anirudh, anirudh, anirudh, kaha gaya re?" I shouted searching for him that's when I met Vihaan on my way. I mentally thanked god for sending them on the right time. (Anirudh, where are you bro?)

"Hi bro, what's up?" Vihaan said to me with a grin.

"Nothing, dude. I was searching for Anirudh." I said with a side hug.

"Oh, he's there". I shooted my eyes towards the corner he was pointing at and not again, ugh.

"Kahi bhi shuru ho jaata." I palmed myself and Vihaan chuckled. Anirudh was again flirting with some girl while holding her hand and she was blushing so hard that it really did make her look like tomato. ("He just needs an excuse to start his flirtation.")

"Chal, hum log chalte hai, aa jayega khud, suar kahi hai" I said to Vihaan and we both went ahead to our class. I didn't expect Nysa there because she was an year younger than me so I heaved a sigh of relief and sat on my usual seat. (Lets go, he'll come by himself, bloody pig.)

Vihaan opened his amazing self-made notes and started revising them. Let me tell you, Vihaan is the topper of this college. He topped the first semester with 98% and he was congratulated by the board director himself, its a big deal.

"Kitna padhta hai tu bhai? Kya karega itna padhke?" I asked him while my mouth fell to the ground seeing his notes. (How much will you study, bro? What will you even do with it?)

"Tu toh aise keh raha hai jaise tu nhi padhta, sab pata hai mujhe ki chhup chhup ke sab padh leta hai. 94% kya jaadu se aate hai?" Vihaan scoffed at me. You are saying like you don't study, I know you secretly read all the stuff. 94% is no magic, am I right or am I right?)

"Aur nhi toh kya, kaala jaadu" I replied laughing to which he laughed too. (Obviously, black magic, duh)

The professor came into the class and started the lesson. Ruhaan was not attending today due to his personal reasons. He has a very private life, he's an open book with secrets even he doesn't know about himself. After just 2 minutes, Anirudh came panting, he must have ran from the first corridor to reach the end of the class. He entered loyally like it was his college.

"Stay outside, Anirudh Khanna. I can't tolerate your same irresponsible behaviour everyday. Stay out and join the second class." the professor said sternly.

He took a glance at me and I mouthed 'jaise ko taisa'. He understood it well and rolled his eyes at me. (You get what you sow)

Our class was over after 35 minutes after which we all went to the common cafeteria of the university. Its big enough to hold all the students of north campus. Anirudh was ignoring us but so were we. It wasn't our mistake. We didn't tell him to flirt with a girl and be late in the class. YOU GET WHAT YOU SOW. Over.

"What are we getting then? You know I can't keep up the ignoring thing!" He looked at us.

"Go, get us some fries and burgers." I ordered him acting like Ruhaan.

"You are a bad actor, Aryan. Don't act like Ruhaan if you can't." He said on my face.

"Still you got it, so not so bad. Now, go." He went ahead muttering something while me and Vihaan started laughing remembering the faces he made in the last 15 minutes on the way. Just as we were laughing, my eye scooted towards her, again. God, please if you just love me a bit, just a bit, its time to show that now. They immediately found us and came to us.

"Hi! Can we sit here. We haven't communicated much at the moment with the people here and we can barely see any chairs left to sit so can we?" asked Vanya. She looks sensible to me. She was with Anaysha (?), yeah ig. Raina and Nysa were behind them muttering something to each other in a serious tone.

"Yeah sure, come on, you can take your seats." Vihaan said with a small smile to which Vanya and Anaysha returned gladly. They all took seats. Nysa sat beside me and I KNOW, I JUST KNOW that she did that deliberately or that God doesn't love me anymore.

"Did you find Nysa?" She said with a smirk poking on my arm.

I gathered all the confidence I had in me and replied with a smirk "yeah, I did and she's sitting just next to me." Being friends with Anirudh come with its own benefits.

"Are you happy then?" Her smirk grew and she grinned at me.

"Yes, I am indeed." I replied with a huge grin myself.

"I am glad." Not being able to grow her smirk anymore, she laughed at me while leaning on my shoulder. I laughed too. I love this too much for her good.

"What are you guys laughing at?" Anaysha asked with curiosity.

Before I could reply, Nysa replied "Its just friend things." she shrugged her shoulders. I thanked her for not embarassing me infront of her friends by dictating the whole incident.

"Haww! Now we're not your friends?? Kaha gayi teri kasme, kaha gaye tere waade. Pata tha mujhe, bada jaayegi tu" Anaysha said in a dramatic tone to which Raina followed and said the last sentence. (Where did your promises go, I knew you would change)

Anirudh came behind them and put his hand over Anaysha. He said "Meri dost ban jao, saare waade nibhaunga." He and his flirting skills. (Be my friend, I'll keep all the promises.)

Nysa stood up and went to him. I frowned at why is she going to him? She immediately pulled him back and asked him to be her friend.

"Unka pata nhi, main banungi tumhari dost pakka. Aisi lines toh maine sirf wattpad aur books mein padhi hai. God is there, I knew he existed." She said exclaiming her love for such lines. (I don't know about them but I'll be your friend. I've only read these lines either on wattpad or books.)

She muttered something in his ear and immediately laughed. I need to ask him what she said. I don't like this at all.

My heart mocked at me 'you wanted to stay just friends with her, what happened?'

She happened.
