And I'll make it worth the wait.
"Oh, Tanya," I murmur as I stare at the setting sun; the colors mesmerizing me. "You think your life is finally coming together." I cackle, staring down at a picture of Tanya when she was a child. "But," I slowly take a small pocket knife out of my hand, letting it's sharp edge graze against the edge of the picture.
"It's far from coming together." I snarl, shoving the sharp edge of the pocket knife through her face in the picture.
I will make her pay.
I will watch as she falls; as her world crumbles beneath her feet.
"Fate won't be as kind to you the second time around," I whisper, slowly ripping the picture in my hands to small pieces.
"You think you can trust people, but you can't." I smirk as the pieces of the picture fall to the ground.
"The person you trust the most will be your downfall." I look towards the sky, my eyes staring into the setting sun.
You will fall, and I will rise.
"We have reached our destination." Barricade's voice reaches my ears through the speakers, dragging me out of my half-asleep coma.
With a smile I look out at the field in front of us, my eyes landing on Ironhide in his alt. mode, Jazz sitting in his alt. mode only a few feet away from him. As I look around I notice Ratchet off to the side in his alt. mode, Bumblebee sitting not far from him.
"Sam! Mik!" I shout once my eyes land on them. They look up, smiling when they finally saw me.
"Tai!" The say in unison, hopping off of Bee. I step out of Barricade and make my way over to them, grunting as I was forced into a hug sandwich in between them.
"How have you guys been?" I ask once we pull apart, moving a wisp of hair out of my face. Sam chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Good..I suppose. Mom and Dad are still fretting over me." I roll my eyes.
"Of course they are. How did you expect them to react?" I ask, my right eyebrow cocked. Sam just shrugs.
"I suppose you have a point." I snort, of course I have a point.
"What about you?" I ask Mik, my head tilted at her. "How's life?" She smiles at me, her hands on her hips.
"I've been working on helping my dad get back on his feet." She replies, a small smile gracing her face. I smile at her words, happy to hear her dad was finally out of prison.
"What about you?"
"Huh?" I look at Sam confused. "What about me?" I ask.
"How's life been for you?" He asks, this time his eyebrows are the ones that are cocked. "Good I hope." I smile, nodding.
"Really good actually." I say softly. "Let's just say I'm adjusting better to the fact of having a real mother and father." Sam smiles warmly at me.
"That's good to hear." We stand in a moment of peaceful silence until I decide to break it.
"Getting frisky over there 'eh?" I ask, smirking at their reactions. "Don't play with me! I saw you two sucking faces on top of Bumblebee!"
"Tai!" Sam groans, facepalming.
"What? Was it something I said?" I ask, smiling innocently at them.
"You and Barricade 'eh?"
Would it be wrong to say my heart stopped for a minute at Mikaela's words?
