I opened my eyes, looking at the sleeping girl on top of me. I placed my hand on her forehead, Eliza groaned at the cold touch of my hand. I traced her delicate face covered with cuts and bruises, my hand stopped, resting under her chin. I gently turned her face up, I looked at her lips, beating myself up inside for my idiotic brain. Just as I started leaning in to kiss her, she sprung awake to the sound of her alarm. She quickly sat up grabbing at her head as it ached. 

"Eliza,"

 I propped myself up on my elbows looking up at her.

"You're sick, go back to sleep." I suggested as she grabbed her phone.

"That doesn't matter, I need to be able to pay the bills, feed the boys.." As Eliza went on with her list of worries I sat there waiting, watching as her hair tumbled down in curls, before grabbing her and pulling her back down. 

"Why are you so light?" Eliza grumbled illegible words into my shoulder before sleep took her once more. With a sigh, I gently got out from under her. 

I walked across the hall, knocking on the boys doors.

"Guys, get up for school please." I walked into the kitchen looking for something to make for breakfast, I heard coughing coming from the living room. Looking through the doorway of the kitchen I made sure she was still asleep, before heading back to make the boys breakfast. 

The twins left throwing worried glances to their sister who laid on the couch tossing and turning. Before they closed the door behind them they threw a weary glance at me. I let out a sigh as I walked into the living room, I threw myself onto one of the arm chairs checking my phone. My phone was filled with missed calls from both my parents and my siblings. I groaned, throwing my head against the back of the arm chair. I turned my head to the side to look at Eliza, I pushed myself out of the chair before falling into place at Eliza's side I placed my hand on her forehead. Her emerald eyes flickered open as she leaned into my hand. My eyes flickered over her face drinking in the soft details, her pink lips even her rosy cheeks, and like I always do I spoke before I thought.

"You and the boys, you guys can come live with me." I said brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

~(Sorry this chapter is so short and took so long to come out, I was dealing with some home issues but i'm back now so that's what matters <3)~
