Y/N'S POV :

The days went by well, me and Ace got along nice as well, except the fact that he receives punishment from me often for stealing foods or getting into fights

"I am surprised" Said Marco as he put down his tea

"Bout what?" I asked as I took a sip of mine, going through the list of the commander's loot share

"Btw how did baba share the loots among the commanders?" I asked Marco

"Well it depended on what we got, if the loot was high we just shared it equally, if it was low, only the commanders got some bellies for themselves" Explained Marco

"Seems like we should Increase looting marine bases more now" I exclaimed

"Well yea, buying the ships did cost a lot, plus we had to use pop's old funds to help recover the people of Sphinx" Said marco as he took another sip from his tea

"We should increase the paychecks of the commanders too, They work hard protecting all this islands" I said with a small smile

"Well then Ace should receive more, he is the one who mostly goes to check on the islands on his striker"

"Hmm even if he is a brat, he does work hard" I said as I thought about how Ace was dancing around drunk with his friends the other night, this days he makes me giggle a lot to myself

"Btw back to the topic" Said marco as he coughed

"Yes?"

"About Aoto"

"Hm?" I asked as i looked towards Marco, I kinda don't get the chance to think about Aoto much anymore, maybe cuz I already have my hands full with Ace

"I got some insiders info, Aoto didn't escaped from Impel Down at the time of War like the other prisoners, the government is thinking about pardoning him for his good behavior" Said Marco

"Oh, I kinda already knew that, when is he coming out?" I asked in a Sad tone.... Aoto huh

*Flashback*

"AOTOOO!!" I screamed as I ran thought the corridors of the ship

"What? I am training him!" Replied Marco

"Let's playyyyyy!!" I exclaimed

"No, go away, I lost in a fight from a girl half my size, I can't play till I get stronger" Aoto said motivated and I pouted and threw him into the ocean

"AOTO YOU MEANIEEEEE!!" I booed at him

Aoto sighed and replied

"Alright, but just till lunch break, okay?' Asked Aoto

" Sureee!! I heard uncle roger is here too! We can go play with him like before!!" I said all excited

Aoto got Up and we ran to the island, it was filled with sakura trees and had no citizens

"We can't play with roger y/n" Said Aoto in a sad tone

"Why?" I asked

"He is sick, don't you know?" Asked Aoto

"He is gonna die soon..." Continued Aoto in a sad tone

..... "Die? Like mom?" I asked curiously

"... Yea... Like my grandpa and mom too.." Said Aoto, he looked sad..

I hugged him tight

"You won't die right Aoto?" I asked as I hugged him tighter

"Of course not silly" Replied Aoto as he hugged me back
