Reborn sat on the bleachers in a small and empty basketball court. This time, he wore a casual dress with huge sneakers. But he'd still hidden his face behind a mask, causing only his eyes to show. He smirked when he saw a red light in the sky, among the clouds. Trevor finally appeared right above Reborn and landed.
"What's with the hoodie? Weather ain't cold." Reborn asked him.
"None of your business." Trevor scoffed, above Reborn on the bleachers.
"C'mon. Loosen up a bit." Reborn sighed "Is it because you wanna hide your hair?"
"Shut up."
"So it is!" Reborn burst out with laughter, trying to catch his breath after he was done "Sorry. But you've gotta be proud of it. It's cool to have red hair."
"So why did you call me here?" Trevor asked him, folding his arms.
"Why did you decide to come?" Reborn also asked him.
"Again, it's none of your business."
"I wanna ask you something, Trevor." Reborn muttered "What did Helena tell you before she died?"
"Why would you want to know that."
"Just answer it."
"She said there was a good side to you. And that she wanted to save that good si . . ." Trevor paused when Reborn burst out with laughter.
Trevor was just a second away from blasting him with red energy, but then he realised something. From behind, Trevor could see tears dropping from Reborn's mask. He was laughing and weeping at the same time. Trevor couldn't understand what he was feeling.
"That girl. I did tell her to flee if we were to cross paths again. She's so stubborn." Reborn said with a sniff "I can't believe I killed her. Oh, Hel."
"What is wrong with this guy?" Trevor thought out loud "Is he actually feeling guilt?"
"I hate myself so much!" Reborn bellowed, then a stopped abruptly "I must seem crazy to you, Trevor."
"Good job reading my mind." Trevor mumbled and spoke loudly "Well, no point sulking over that. What's done is done."
"You're good, Trevor. That's why . . ." Reborn turned and lifted his head to look at Trevor ". . . I need you to join the Revolution of Lyraxes."
"Huh?!" He yelled "Is this what you calling me here is about?!"
"C'mon, Trevor. Why did you quit Terminating? Think about it. You're beginning to view Lyraxes from a different perspective. Help us succeed. Your very character is what we need."
"No! No! Stop!" Trevor screamed "I'm gonna have to be killing Terminators and Humans. So don't even think about it."
"I'll let you in on something. In The Revolution of Lyraxes, there's only one human and one Lyrax. The rest of the members are all Terminators. Why do you think that's so?"
Trevor stayed silent for some seconds. He was startled by that information from the start, but then he sighed and shrugged his shoulders.
"Reflect on that, Trevor." Reborn sighed, rising to his feet "You play b ball, right?" He picked up a ball from the ground and spinned it.
"You bet." Trevor scoffed with a proud smile.
"I bet you couldn't even make 5 against me." Reborn challenged him with a smirk.
"Oh really?" Trevor said, jumping from the bleachers and landing "Best out of 10."
"Alright." Reborn agreed, throwing the ball, and Trevor caught it "Show me what you've got."
