Friday came by too soon for Evangeline, entirely lost in the bliss of falling for her soulmate. The vampires within the castle were becoming ever increasingly rowdy and agitated, knowing the time to feed was slowly creeping closer.
She was nervous. She had not once given into the desire of devouring a human, the mere thought made her throat burn but also her mind lurch at such an action. However, she would need to follow this lifestyle if she were to be with Jane for the rest of eternity. It was a small sacrifice she was willing to make.
Jane and Evangeline were currently strolling through the royal gardens, the gold italian sun shining down upon their pure and perfect skin, making it gleam with millions of dazzling diamonds. Their hands were interlocked together, swinging slightly back and forward due to Evangeline being lost in her thoughts. She was completely unaware of Jane's piercing maroon eyes staring at her, her features softening as she gazed at her soulmate in awe, her usual scowl replaced with a small smile. Evangeline briefly let go of Jane's hand, which made the latter frown slightlt at the loss of the touch of her lover, and swiftly crouched down to a patch of vibrant wildflowers. Carefully, she picked a few of the gorgeous, loose clusters of tiny bright blue flowers. Evangeline stood back up and went back to Jane, a small skip in her step with a bright smile adorning her sparkling features."These are for you, my love," she handed the wildflowers to Jane. If Jane's frozen heart could beat, it would be pounding against her ribcage and her ears would be tinted pink. Instead, her small smile turned into a grin. Her hand taking Evangeline's own in one and the pretty blue flowers in the other.
"Did you know these are called Anchusa azurea or as most commonly known as Italian Bugloss? They can often be mistaken as forget me nots due to their colour," She spoke softly, her hand moving to tuck one in her lover's hair, behind her ear."I didn't know that, actually. All I know is that flowers are pretty!" Angie spoke, her eyes looking directly at Jane as she said the word "pretty".
"Well, Angel, if you were a flower, you would be the most gorgeous of them all." Jane replied smoothly, her smile somehow growing larger as Angie playfully yet softly hit her arm, looking away in embarassment at being complimented.Their time was then interrupted by Felix, the toweringly tall excecutioner of the Volturi guard came to get them. It was time.
He was silent, only nodding at Jane, who nodded back in return. He turned around and sped off back to where he came from.
"Are you ready, Angel?"
"I won't lie to you, no. No, I am not ready for this. What if I can't do it correctly? I don't want the Kings disappointed in me," She spoke, her eyebrows furrowed in worry.
"You will be fine, my darling. It's just like drinking from an animal, yet it's so much better. I promise you will never want to go back to feeding off of animals ever again," Jane reassured her.
Angie nodded her head once, she took an unneeded breath and started towards the grand castle.
The two vampires made their way into the grand throne room, Evangeline's grip on Jane's hand tightening in anticipation and her throat burned with hunger.

The current receptionist waltzed into the room, a large group of tourists wandering around in awe at the large throne room.
"This is where your tour ends!" She spoke, overly happy about leaving them for dead.
The confused humans just stood there, clueless as she walked back out, closing the two large doors. As soon as the lock clicked, the chaos started.
Many of the guard pounced upon a nearby human
The scent of fresh blood wafted through the air, tantalizing her impecable senses, triggering an insatiable thirst that clawed at the very core of her being. Jane nodded at her, pecking her cheek and motioned towards one of the humans in the room. Vicious, venomous fangs pierced her jugular
Angie's razor-sharp teeth dug into the soft flesh of an unsuspecting neck, her predatory grin on display. The exhilaration yet white hot pain of the bite triumphed over the young woman, causing her to gasp and enter a trance-like state. The vampire's vicious, venomous fangs tore at the woman's jugular, deep crimson blood spurting everywhere. It coated her face and clothes, staining her once white undershirt maroon. The vampire, consumed by a voracious thirst, drank from the spring of life pulsating beneath her skin, making the room appear to oscillate.
Evangeline's senses elevated as the crimson nectar flowed, turning her surroundings into a kaleidoscope of sensory delights. It tasted like an elixir of intoxicating power, reviving her body with a rush of energy that sent shivers down her spine.
So lost in her hunger, her drinking became more agressive. She accidently ripped off her victims head, yet she didn't care. Her attention was exclusively on the startling mammalian blood with a cardinal red complexion.Evangeline's jaw swept downwards, digging her needle-sharp, cruel canines into the headless corpse's frail and limp wrist.
Once her victim was fully drained, she snapped out of her trance, her eyes darted to Jane in shock at what she had done.
Jane was in stark contrast to Evangeline, barely any blood upon her perfect features with only a few stains upon her clothes.
Jane smiled at her lover, proud that she followed through despite her nerves.
"It gets easier and cleaner, my love. Don't worry," she held Ange's hand with love and adoration.
Suddenly, Aro cleared his throat, which was a bit unnecessary to be honest, and stared at Evangeline.
"Young Evangeline, welcome to the Volturi Guard."
