Travis is really clingy! The waiting had let him become so clingy but I'm not going to lie here, I love it. I love how clingy he is to me and how sweet he had become these past few days before I leave for Davao. He even insisted on going with me kung hindi ko lang siya pinigilan. There is a part of me that wanted him to come with me so that I can be with him. Yeah, mukhang nahawa na rin ako sa pagiging clingy niya. Pero may part rin na ayaw ko. Ayaw kong may ibang titingin sa kanya. I hate that girls will always be looking at him and trying to flirt. I'm not really a selfish person but I can become one when it comes to him.
Nakapagrelax ako nitong linggo pero hindi ko naman masabing totally fun ang vacation. We went to beach and partied together with my cousins pero alam kong may kulang. If only I'd let him come with me, sana mas masaya. Being with them made me miss my girls and the boys. Matagal ko rin sila hindi nakasama simula nang maging okay kami ulit ni Travis because he wants me alone at ayaw niya ng istorbo. Ang sabi niya ay kailangan namin ng 'alone time' because we missed each other for two years. Who am I to refuse right?
Sa sobrang palagi kaming magkasama parang hindi na ako sanay na wala siya sa tabi ko. So in the end I was alone here in the party. Masaya ang party ni Rachel and we had a few shots together with our other cousins after the formal event with the parents. Ngayon puro kami nalang magpipinsan ang magkakasama. Pumayag rin naman sila na magbar kami since marami kami at kasama namin ang ilan sa mga lalaki kong pinsan.
"Sana sinama mo si Travis, Brielle." Ngumuso si Rachel.
"Yeah, I thought I could finally meet your boyfriend." Allan, one of my cousins shook his head.
"Para yabangan mo? Nako, 'di ka uubra sa yabang, Allan! Mas mayabang 'yun sayo." Tumawa ako at natawa rin ang iba kong pinsan and the boys started teasing each other. Close talaga kaming magpipinsan kahit na minsan lang kami magkita because our age gap wasn't really that far and the youngest had reached her legal age today.
Kinuha ko ang phone ko and there was a message from him.
Travis:
How's the party? I miss you.
Me:
Me too. Wish you were here.
Travis:
You miss me that much? Don't worry, we'll see each other soon ;)
Ngumiti lang ako at hindi na nagreply dahil hinatak na ako nila Rachel papuntang dancefloor. Masaya si Rachel ngayon at ayaw kong sirain ang mood niya kaya pinagbigyan ko siya at nakisayaw. The first day of being legal? Feels great! Finally no fake ID's to get into bars!
"Cheers! Finally no more curfews for me!" Rachel cheered and raised her glass.
"Asa pa! Mom won't let you and I won't too." Kontra sa kanya ni Bryan, kapatid niya. Nagmake face lang sa kanya si Rachel.
Madaling araw na nang napagdesisyunan naming umuwi. Hinatid pa ako ng mga pinsan ko dahil nagaalala sila na baka maligaw ako pabalik sa hotel.
"Kuya, samahan niyo kaya ni Allan si Brielle paakyat?" Ani Rachel.
Agad akong tumanggi nang marinig ko 'yun. "Thank you but I'm fine. Okay lang talaga ako, hindi naman ako lasing. I can still manage." I assured them. "Thank guys, ingat kayo pauwi and happy birthday ulit, baby girl no more."
Kahit na sa totoo lang ay lasing na lasing ako at feeling ko matutumba na ako pero iniisip ko na aakyat lang naman ako ng elevator kaya siguro kaya ko pa. I've never drank this much before, ngayon lang talaga dahil wala 'yung bantay ko. I felt like a free woman tonight.
Sinuklay ko ang buhok ko habang naghihintay sa elevator. Halos wala akong kasabay dahil madaling araw na. My parents are probably asleep already and they are at the room beside mine so they wouldn't know. Atleast hindi na nila ako mapapagalitan in case they see me tomorrow.
