*Aaliyah's P.O.V*

I wake up, looking around sleepily. The room is barely lit up by the light peeking under the curtains and I turn my head to look at Zero. She is still asleep, looking very peaceful. A small part of my mind argued that we should leave her alone and let her keep sleeping, the bigger part of my mind agreed that I should make her get up now and give me her attention.

I wriggle out of her hold, crawling on top of Zero and sitting on her stomach. My movement doesn't do much to wake her so I reach up to pat her face. It was my attention time! She had to give it to me. I whine as she doesn't show any signs of waking, sticking my tongue out at her as I crawl off her stomach, slowly lowering myself to the ground. I look at Zero, tugging the blanket off her.

I pout when all she does is turnover, her leg sticking off the bed slightly. I grab her ankle, using both hands to tug as I use my full body strength to pull her off of the bed. I scramble to stay standing, falling back when I actually manage to pull Zero out of bed. She falls to the floor and I fall back when she pops up, hitting my head on the dresser.

"Aaliyah," Zero gives me an exasperated look, not looking pleased as I pout. I sniffle slightly, wiping my nose with my sleeve as I rub the back of my head with my free hand. My brilliant plan hadn't been so smart, I realize as I stand there.

"Sorry, you not wake up. Wanted attention," I mutter as I avoid eye contact with her as she comes over, lifting me up and into her arms.

"Well you'll certainly get it, you're going to have to go to the infirmary or something," Zero says, making me furrow my eyebrows. I realize my fingers are stained red from where I touched my head and look at her with wide eyes.

"It's fine Aaliyah, nothing a doctor can't fix," Zero assures me, making me shake my head.

"Not doctors, healers," I correct, making her raise an eyebrow.

"Okay well the healers are going to have to work their magic on this then," Zero says as she lifts me up. I snuggle into her, letting her carry me out of the bedroom and into the hallway. She rests me on her hip.

She doesn't know where she's going which is obvious so I'm more than happy to run into Rana. She's already dressed for the day, her hair pulled back to stay out of her face. It was a simple spell but I had never been able to get it to work for me.

"Rara!" I call, squealing happily and reaching for her. Rana takes me from Zero, smiling softly.

"What are you doing up so early Aaliyah?" Rana asks, making me smile at her.

"I wake Zero up cause I want attention but I fell and hit my head," I inform her, showing her the blood on my hand. She raises an eyebrow, tilting my face down so that she can inspect my head thoroughly for the wound.

"Rara, stop it," I whine as she checks over my entire head.

"Shush and let your big sister make sure you're okay," Rana says, letting me lift my head up when she finally lets my head go. "You'll have to go see a pediatrics healer, I'm not specialized enough to heal it," Rana says, making me whine as I throw my head back. I smile when I see Zero and reach for her.

"Excuse me," Zero says politely. "I thought your name was Rana?" she says, confusion in her tone.

"It is, Aaliyah just likes to call me Rara. It was her nickname for me when she was younger," Rana explains as she smiles slightly at my dramatic whining as I reach for Zero.

"Aaliyah, behave. You're lucky grandma and grandpa haven't figured out that you're hurt. I swear for witches they have the nose of a vampire when it comes to one of their babies being hurt," Rana says, making me roll my eyes.

"I good at secrets," I tell her, sticking my tongue out at her as she rolls her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah. Sure you are. That's why everyone already knows that you're a child again," Rana says, making me pout at her.

"I not tell anyone. Snitches did," I huff, earning a small chuckle from Rana.

"Oh really? It was snitches?" Rana asks, making me nod my head firmly.

"Snitches who get stitches and wind up in ditches," I say, making Rana press her lips together really hard to not laugh. She hands me over to Zero, keeping her mouth covered with her hand as she hides her laughter.

"I serious," I whine as I look back at Zero, pouting when I see that she is laughing too.

"Meanies!" I glare at Zero, teleporting out of her arms and down the hall.

"I not like you," I stomp my foot as I glare at Rana and Zero before turning around and walking off.

"Aaliyah," Zero calls after me but I'm too mad at her for laughing at me to come back. I squeal angrily when I'm swooped up suddenly, tilting my head back to see that Miachel has come out of nowhere and just swooped me up.

"Where you come from?" I ask, crossing my arms as I look at him with a pout.

"When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much," Miachel starts to say, making me cover my ears as I huff at his audacity. That wasn't what I wanted to hear, I already knew how babies were made.

"Not what I meant," I glare at him. "'sides, you parents didn't even love each other," I say, making him gasp as he sets me down.

"Okay then, have fun with Zero and the doctor," Miachel turns away. I plan on running but I'm picked up by Zero. I glare at her as she asks Rana where the pediatrics healer would be, if there was one here. With my terrible luck there was so I just had to sulk the whole time Zero carried me to the healers.
