Your eyes fell heavy as Professor Snape went on and on about the differences between potion ingredients. Potions was your least favorite class, You'd honestly rather be anywhere else but here his monotone voice is just lulling you to sleep.

You're so zoned out you don't notice that Snape has stopped talking and is now towering directly over you, you feel a small kick and snap out of your daze looking up at the terrifying man looming above you

"Am I boring you Y/l/n?" He says with a hint of annoyance in his voice

"N-no Professor" you stutter out

You hear giggles from all over the room and start to feel embarrassed.

"Well maybe you'd like to day dream in detention" he said as he walked back to his desk with a huff

You slink down into the desk it was so humiliating but you are just glad he didn't take any house points from Y/H because you're sure that would've made it worse.

As class ended you walked out with your head down watching your feet and you head to herbology you actually liked this class mostly when you had the honor of witnessing when Draco was bitten by a mandrake, you walk down the corridor when you hear a commotion.

You look up to see the infamous Weasley twins playing a prank on some 1st years you rolled your eyes and chuckled to yourself.

Fred spots you "Oi Y/n! Come here" he shouts at you. You walk up to the twins

"You didn't have to shout Fredrick" you say sarcastically he's pouted at you playfully

"Hey y/n wanna help us with this prank" George asked sweetly there was something about George that just made you instantly melt he was just so handsome and sweet.

You feel your face grow a little red "sorry Georgie I already have detention with Snape I don't really wanna get in more trouble" you smile at him

"Y/n got detention what did you do" Fred said as he leaned closer as if you have some sort of juicy gossip

You chuckle "all I did Freddie was daydream in all honesty"

"But I wish you both luck with your prank I do have to get to herbology now bye boys!" You smile at both of them and wave as you rush to herbology so you aren't late

George's Pov:

I watch as y/n walks away she's so adorable, her smile is just enchanting and her chubby cheeks make my heart melt ive had a crush on her for years and I don't know how to ask her out or if she'll even like me.

"Hello earth to George" Fred said as he waved a hand in front of Georges face

I snapped out of my daze "I'm here" I chuckled

"Ok good help me get these sneezing potions ready" he said handing me a bottle.

"Right let's do this Fred" I said putting the bottles in my cloak pockets.

As you rush down the hallway trying to get to detention you run and smack directly into professor McGonagall and land directly on your bottom.

"Well young lady where are you so I'm a Rush to that you aren't even paying attention to your surroundings" she said looking down to you offering her hand to help you up.

"I'm so sorry Professor McGonagall" you start as you take her hand and get up "I have detention with Professor Snape and I really don't want to be late" you said trying to catch your breath.

"Ah I see well let's not waste anymore time shall we" she said as she steps to the side letting you pass.

"Thank you professor and again I'm so sorry I promise I'll do better to pay attention to my surroundings" you said as you started fast walking back down the corridor.

Professor McGonagall nods in your direction and turns back to continue walking.

You finally made it to the potions classroom and see Professor Snape sitting at his desk waiting

"Glad you cared to join us Ms. Y/l/n take a seat and start studying your potion ingredients" he says not looking up from his desk.

You slowly sit down in a desk in the back of the classroom pull out the book and begin studying this was like torture as you flip through each page a sudden loud crash catches your attention, your head swiftly turns towards the door to see what is going on.

Snape jumps up from his desk and goes to check what's going on you strain your neck trying to see when Snape comes back in holding Fred and George by the hoods of their cloaks.

George sees you and winks making you blush bright red , Snape plops them down into desks

"I should've known you Weasleys would have caused trouble today now you're gonna sit here until I say you can leave" he scolded his voice cold and intimidating

You can see the slight smirks on both their faces, George catches you looking and starts mouthing "like what you see" with a huge dorky grin

You mouth back "yea actually" and wink at him that catches George off guard and he starts blushing like crazy which causes you to giggle to yourself.

You quietly go back to studying as you wait for this dreaded detention to be over.

(Time skip)

It has been 2 hours of non stop reading boring potions and ingredients finally snape stands up

"You are free to go but don't give me a reason to bring you all back here understood?" He asked

"Yes professor" you say as you gather your stuff ans get up to leave, Fred and George also getting up and following you. You make it out to the corridor when you feel someone grab your hand, you turn to see George.

"You alright Georgie?" You ask him

"Y/n I have to tell you something" he says as he's still holding your hand.

"Ok Georgie what is it?" You wait for his response

"Well" he starts "I've liked you for a long time now and I was hoping you'd like to go to hogsmead with me and grab a butterbeer?" George asks holding his breath waiting for your response

Your face turns red as you gather your thoughts"Georgie I had no idea you feel this way," you pause "I've always liked you every since first year of course I would love to go with you" a smile creeps across your face as George smiles widely

"I'll pick you up tonight meet me outside your common room" he says as he kisses your cheek.

"I'll see you soon" you gush as you hold the cheek he kissed.
