Being rejected by family wasn't enough misery to Taehyung's life it seems, some demon had decided to reject him too.
The only good thing that had come out of this was that he wasn't required to stay at their family estate anymore.
After that incident at the supposed "gathering", Taehyung had isolated himself from even his most loyal servants. The days following after, he continued to stay in bed as the hope he once had withered away. He never wanted to see his "parents" again.
Fortunately, they were not shameless enough to pretend that they hadn't betrayed him. They didn't look him in the eyes anymore. When Taehyung declared his intentions of leaving, they had agreed. There was relief in their agreement and Taehyung felt nothing short of disgust towards them.
He had decided to leave and stay in that small country villa that none of their family even considered using. They let him leave without any hindrance.
Those scenes from the ritual haunt him, making him wake up in cold sweat in the middle of the night.
He hopes they'll fade away.

But there's something else that's been bothering Taehyung. He feels as if he's being watched. Maybe he's become paranoid after everything that's conspired.
His dreams have become too vivid. He sees a man in them, someone he hasn't ever seen before.
It's always his room, he walks in through the door, he smiles at him with his thin lips, Taehyung has never seen his eyes.
He kisses Taehyung, takes his clothes off, his lips roam on his chest, linger, tease, and please, before he makes Taehyung moan in sinfully wicked ecstasy.
Taehyung would wake up in a haze, buzzing with arousal but would forget about the reason that has caused it.
He wonders what the reason behind these scandalous dreams may be. The books he reads tell him that he's sexually frustrated. That it's because his body is craving the touch or another.
He had been preserving his chastity to be a good Omega, someone that the society would not criticize, someone that his parents would approve of.
But these things have lost all of their meaning to him. He doesn't want any of that anymore. No matter how ideally he had behaved or how hard he had worked, nothing was ever acknowledged. They had decided to throw him in the pit of death despite all of that.
So he decides, it's time he breaks through these invisible chains.
Forgetting all about the man in the dreams he looks for someone handsome enough to catch his fancy. He sends out one of the servants in the villa to fetch him an Alpha who could satisfy his carving. Once he does, he invites him over.
