Less runs over to where I am because we're both strikers, and I kiss her cheek before getting straight back into the game.

They have two chances in the space of a minute but both times are missed.

The 84' comes and Hempo shoots but it's blocks, resulting in the ball landing straight at my foot. I kick it and it gets to the back of the net.

Everyone comes and tackles me in hugs and high fives but then I see less running towards me.

I open my arms out and she jumps on me.

I hold her legs up as she kisses my head.

"Well done, baby." Less gives me a final kiss on my lips.

The final five minutes go by and there is an extra 4 minutes.

In the last minute, I send a ball through to Fran who gets the scoreline up to 3-1.

We run to her and I high five and hug her.

The final whistle goes and everyone hugs each other.

Less heads straight to me and hugs me.

I bury my head in her neck, partly because I've just played 90 minutes of football, but also because we've just won a tournament and now I get to lift the trophy.

I head over to Sarina and Ellen.

Ellen tackles me in a hug.

"So proud of you, kid." She whispers in my ear

"Thanks, el." I turn to face Sarina whose got a massive smile on her face.

"This is why we want you to be captain. Not because we won, but because of the way how you care about your teammates. All three matches someone got injured and you were the first by their side. Formally, I want to be the first the say congratulations on your first tournament win as captain. Well done, liv."

"Thank you so much, Sarina, for everything. For believing in me, for giving me a chance." I say and hug her

"Go, you've got a trophy to lift."

Everyone gathers round, and before we lift the trophy, the golden boots are handed out.

Me and Alexia Putellas get given a golden boot as we both scored 2 goals.

We get a picture with our golden boots before everyone stands in a line to receive our medals.

Being captain, I stand at the back. The person in front of you was the one to put the medal on you.

Once Ella had put Alessia's medal on less' neck, she turned to me and gently put my medal on. She kisses my cheek before making her way to everyone.

I walk past and grab the trophy, smiling to myself as I never imagined it would be me lifting it.

I walk to where everyone else is and make my way to the front.

I motion for Leah to come and lift it with me.

"You're the captain, you lift it." Leah tells me

"In my heart and my mind, you'll always be the captain. So come and help me lift it, cap." I say to her and a big smile appears on her face.

Everyone started hitting the board and 'ooh'ing and then they throw their hands up when we lift it.

Everyone is celebrating and then I get called away for an interview.

I do the interview and they tell me that I've been awarded player of the match.

Because of this, they hand me a bottle of champagne.

After the interview, most people have gone inside already but I spend a bit more time to the fans.

The staff had given everyone spare shirts to give out to fans as we weren't allowed to give out our match worn ones.

I see a little girl who had a sign asking for my shirt, so I walk over and pass it to her. I have a short conversation with her and she starts crying half way through. I gently hug her and we take a picture.

I walk back into the changing rooms. Everyone had celebrated with the trophy outside and gave it back to me and then I went for my interview, so I still had it in my hand.

I walk in with the trophy in one hand my bottle of champagne in the other along with my golden boot.

Everyone cheers when I walk in.

"Hey there, mini superstar." Lucy cheers as I go sit down in my cubby next to lessi.

I put the trophies and the champagne down and she tells me to come sit on her lap.

I sat down on her lap and she rests her head on my shoulder.

"You were incredible out there, livvy. Best captain England will see." Less whispers

"Thank you, baby." I kiss less passionately, but pull apart when everyone 'Oohs' at us.

"Surely you're used to it by now? I mean they kiss 24/7." Rachel points out and everyone agrees.

"I sure am. Just imagine how they were in college. Two teenagers full of hormones. It was a fight to get them off each other." Lotte adds

"We're not that bad." I state

"Whatever. You're both touching each whenever you can. It's always like you haven't seen each other for months." Beth says, joining the conversation.

"That's a complete lie, isn't it, baby?" I turn and face less

"It is. We're not like that." Less says and pauses before looking up at me. "You're cute after you've just played a match."

"Thank you, lessi." I lean down to kiss her, completely forgetting about the conversation we were all having. We then stop and am met by a very unhappy team.

"Believe us now?" Beth asks and me and less blush with a gentle red.

"It's not my fault liv is so cute." Less says, blushing even more.

"You're the cute one." I whisper to her but everyone still hears.

"When are you two getting married? You're acting like a married couple. Get married already." Mary adds

"Actually, about the wedding, we've decided on 23rd may and we'd all like you to be there. Of course, we'll send formal invites but I thought we'd tell you now too." I say and everyone accepts the invites excitedly. "Now, I think to celebrate Ellen becoming top goalscorer, we should open the champagne."
