Chapter 3

Sofia offered me a ride first. I declined. I didn't want to bother her, but she wasn't having it, so I agreed. Packing my bag, we walked downstairs. Surprisingly, Leo was stretched out on the couch, concentrating on his phone.

"Leo" Sofia called her brother.

Breaking his undivided attention from the phone, he darted his eyes up staring at Sofia.

"I'm going to drop Grace. I might return a bit late," she explained.

Leo's eyes moved to mine. The intensity that pooled his eyes had goosebumps break out on my skin. I don't know what it is about this man that makes me so nervous. He averted his eyes back to Sofia, who was patiently waiting for him to speak.

"I will drop," he announced.

"I'm fine Mr. Castillo. I'll call a taxi," I hastily but politely refused, trying not to offend him.

"I'm taking you," he stressed.

"No, I'm really fine," I refused again, a little annoyed by his stubbornness, but made sure not to let it out in my tone.

I didn't want to spend any time with his intimidating man. Something about him screams trouble. At the same time, I didn't want to come off rude. He is my friend's brother. I can't disrespect him.

"Look, Grace, you won't find any cab out here. If you haven't noticed. We live outside of the town and getting a cab out here is almost impossible. So let Leo drop you off." Sofia asserted.

As much as the idea of being alone with this man scares me, I can't defy the fact Sofia had a point. I guess I don't have many options now.

I chuckled nervously before agreeing. "Okay"

I was grateful for the silence around the car as neither of us made an effort to have a conversation. Even in silence, my body could not calm down. I do not know what this man has, but his presence has me constantly on the edge.

To distract myself, I stared out of the window at the surroundings that were passing in a blur. The entire ride passed by me, continuing to look outside through the tinted window and, before I knew it, the car was parked right outside my house.

Before I could open the car door, a hand curled around my left wrist. Twisting my neck, I flashed him a confused look with my eyebrows scrunched together.

"Is everything okay?" I inquired.

He muttered some incompressible words.

"Huh?"

"Enjoy the time you have left." His deep, husky voice sounded in my ears.

I barely had time to realize what he meant when I felt something soft and warm pressing against my lips. For a moment I couldn't comprehend what had happened until I felt something move on my lips.

Then it hit me that Leo was kissing me. As soon as I regained consciousness, my body went into fight mode and I began to wriggle against his grasp. My struggle did seem to phase him even a bit. I am certain my fights are nothing but weak strikes, but still that didn't discourage me from wriggling against his hold.

Not long after, his fingernail dug into my sensitive skin, warning me to stay still, finally irritated by my resistance. Still ignoring his warning, I didn't stop fighting, but when his hold tightened to a crushing grip my struggle ceased to nothing.

Anyways, struggling is doing me no good. Accepting my defeat, I let him have his mouth with me. It was until I began to feel drowsy due to lack of oxygen I began struggling once again screaming at the same time but it was swallowed by his mouth and came out muffled. This man was sucking the air out of me.

He forcefully plunged his tongue inside me and began exploring every concern of my mouth. The lack of oxygen has taken a toll on me. I began feeling light headed and my lungs were burning. My struggles were still proving futile.

After what felt like hours, he finally released my lips. I greedily suck in the air.

"Why would you do that?" I asked, still struggling to catch my breath.

Instead of answering, he leaned down and kissed me again. That lasted for a short time. So short, I didn't even have time to struggle. He straightened up and stared at me with his dark eyes that were clouded with lust.

His eyes held no remorse. His unapologetic look had anger flared within me. Infuriated by his behavior, my hand was raised to slap him but he caught it midway before it could come in contact with his cheeks.

"How dare you," I spat.

His hold tightened, making me winch in pain. I tried to yank my hand but to no avail. His hold was still tight.

"Leave my hand,"

Instead of releasing my hand, his grip further tightens if possible, making my eyes water.

"P-please," My voice came out shaky.

"Next time, do something like that and I will have no problem keeping you armless,"

"I'm so-sorry," I don't exactly know why I apologized. I just felt like I needed to.

To my luck, he loosened his grip and I successfully jerked it and cradled it to do my chest massaging with my other hand. Another thing I noticed was that it had already started to bruise. I am not nonplussed though. The fact that my bone was still intact was surprising.

I watched him pinching the bridge of his nose, taking long breaths, trying to curb his anger. I sat there still not making a single noise, afraid he would pounce on me.

"Go" was all he said.

I didn't need to be told twice. Pulling the car door opened. I rushed to my feet. Without any delay, I sprinted to my house. Once inside, I locked the door. I was afraid he would change his decision and attack me.

I let out long slow breaths. I tried to steady my breath once I checked the door to make sure it was locked. The knowledge he couldn't enter made me a bit relieved, but I was still shaken up.

I still can't believe he stole my first kiss but the damage has already been done and there is nothing I can do to change it. Yes, I can make sure nothing like this ever happens in the future. Another thing popped into my head. How did he know where I was staying? I don't remember giving him directions to my house.

I was determined not to work myself with the over and done with and focus on my present and I also resolved to never go to Sofia's house.
