Right after the last chapter
After Ozpin told the Rose-Xiao Long and Branwen family they could have their time in Vale, they decided to have a walk in order to speak about the stuff that has happened.
Qrow: You're telling me that you joined a Mercenary Corporation that rescued you and gave you the suit? And became the Red Hand of the CEO?
Kestrel who is without his armor replies
Kestrel: I like the term "Red Right Hand".
Qrow: Why's that?
Asked Qrow with an eyebrow looking at his nephew.
Kestrel: It'll take a while to explain. So what are we doing?
Raven: We were thinking ab-*Ruby: COOKIES!* y-yeah, cookies.
Qrow: Who would've thought that Raven could stutter.
Raven: I'm still glad that the puppy eyes don't work on me.
Yang: Did Aunt Summer use that a lot on you?
Raven: Yes. She abused it.
Ruby: Oh... That explains why I couldn't get away when I stole the cookies from the jar.
Tai with an eyebrow stared at Ruby
Tai: What?
Ruby: NOTHING!
Kestrel: Oh well. So what are we doing?
Ruby: We can go to the cookie store you loved when we were kids.
Yang: Yeah!
Kestrel: Wait, the old man's still alive?
Raven then slapped the back of his head.
Raven: Don't say stuff like that!
Kestrel looked at her with a "sorry" face then apologized for it.
After that we headed over to the cookie shop where Ruby got her Chocolate chips as well for the rest of the family. Once we've got the cookies we started to go around Vale to explore and see what changed.
At the end of the day, Ruby, Yang and Kestrel said their goodbyes and returned to Beacon.
-In the Airship-
Kestrel: Man... I've missed this.
Yang: Yeah. It's good to have you back, Kes.
Ruby: Yeah!
Kestrel: Thanks. I missed both of you.
He said as he ruffled Ruby's hair.
Ruby: H-hey!
Kestrel: I'll never get tired of that.
After that little conversation we went to our dorms and then fell asleep.
-Next day-
It was a beautiful day outside. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming.
And there's a wild Nine Tailed Fox kid who came out of a portal screeching like an autistic kid before getting sucked in by another.
Such a normal day.
And there we see a certain Kestrel sleeping until he feels someone watching him.
He opened his eyes and next thing he noticed...
