Day 418 SK
Destination: Coruscant
2100 hours

"Do we know who it is?" I ask General Plo, checking my rifle before I slide it over my shoulder.

"It would be wisest if you did not know," he replies, beckoning me to follow him. I can't decide if that's more comforting or alarming. "We must have our full focus on the task at hand,"

"Yes, Sir." I slide my helmet on, falling into line beside him.

A couple days ago, there was an explosion in the hangar of the Coruscant Jedi temple, caused by nano-droids in someone's bloodstream. An accomplice in the act was caught, but one of the Jedi killed them when they were left alone together. A few of my brothers were taken out when the Jedi escaped. Now I —along with Wolffe, some Coruscant guards, and Generals Plo and Skywalker— have been called to apprehend them for trial. We're meeting General Skywalker and some of the Coruscant Guards that are being dispatched to look for the Jedi.

What Jedi would do such a thing?

Krell comes to mind, but he's dead now. I can't imagine any of the other Jedi I know doing something like this. At least it was obvious Krell wasn't much of a Jedi. Icarus also comes to mind, but something tells me it wasn't him.

We get onto the ship we're taking to the lower levels of Coruscant, and I hold Wolffe's arm as we take off. We land near a lead we have (General Skywalker almost had them, but they escaped) and start searching on the ground. I go with General Plo, who thought it would be best if I stuck with him. I don't ask why.

These levels of Coruscant aren't very nice. The buildings are crowded and dirty, with garbage on the ground and signs advertising shifty businesses. There aren't many people around, which has me on edge. I pull a blaster out.

General Plo rests a hand on it gently. "You will not need that, Wolf Pup."

I sheathe it, slightly confused. Aren't we hunting a stray Jedi? "Yes, Sir."

We look around the underground for another half hour, heading through narrow alleyways and across sketchy bridges. But we don't find anyone except a couple drunk Chiss. I try to pet a Loth cat at one point, but it hisses and runs away before I can get close.

"General Plo Koon," Wolffe's voice comes through on the General's comm unit. "We almost had the Commander, but they escaped with the help of Asajj Ventress."

"Good work, Commander Wolffe. We're on our way to your location now."

He signals to pick up the pace, but there's something off about how he responded. It seemed almost... disappointed.

"Sir, may I ask who Asajj Ventress is?" I ask as we jog past a flickering neon sign with another drunk under it.

"She was a Sith, betrayed by her Master. We've had no leads on her until now," he replies. "It's quite worrisome that she is working with our suspect."
