No Pressure (Read; A Lot Of Pressure)

Wilbur arrives 10 minutes later like clockwork, and the two of them chat while they work out. They spend most of the time on the bikes and treadmills, but Wilbur leaves him briefly to "Stretch his wings" in a private training room for about half an hour as Tommy winds down.

By the time Wilbur returns from that, Tommy's downing the last of his water, and they head out to grab breakfast.

"Oh um, Peleus asked to join us for breakfast today." Wilbur says as they walk past the 'Out Of Order' sign taped to one of the elevators and towards the stairs. "I haven't responded yet, but I wanted to see if that's alright with you?"

Tommy shrugs a bit as he opens up the door to the stairs. "I don't mind."

He did mind, actually- but it's not like he's gonna say that. Not after what Pel- er, Technoblade -had done for him in the elevator. Not after the man had shared something so personal from his past immediately after showing Tommy his identity.

..Now that he thinks about it; he and Wilbur revealed their identities in pretty similar ways. Sure, different scenarios and different circumstances- but it was close enough.

Wilbur smiles at him like he's proud, and ruffles Tommy's hair as they make their way down the many, many flights of stairs down to the cafeteria. He pulls out his phone once the door closes, and shoots off a text to- he assumes -Technoblade.

And sure enough, the pink-haired hero is waiting for them when they get there; sitting at a table by the window and steeping a cup of tea in his palms. They both tell him good morning as they set their gym bags down, before leaving to get their respective breakfasts.

Wilbur goes straight for the little coffee bar in the corner like the addict he is; while Tommy gets himself a plate of waffles, a small bowl of strawberries, and some hashbrowns.

He lingers at the "utensils" station, though. Fidgeting with the napkins and moving really slowly to take a fork; waiting until Wilbur's gotten his coffee and some toasted breakfast sandwich before walking to the table so they both get there at the same time.

It's not like Tommy's avoiding Technoblade. He just..

..No, ok he's absolutely avoiding him.

Which, in the back of his mind, he knows that's unfair. Technoblade helped him calm down when literally one of his worst fears came true. It's wasn't fair for Tommy to be avoiding the man.

But he couldn't help it.

Thankfully, Technoblade doesn't seem to have noticed that Tommy lingered on purpose; because he only nods and says "Mornin'." Before going back to steeping his tea and reading from his book.

Tommy takes the opportunity to snag the syrup off the center of the table, and drowns his plate in them just like he likes it. Then he bites into a strawberry as he cuts them up. Then he finally digs in.
