Aryan lied down on bed, shuffling through his sides, unable to catch any sleep. Ashi had coaxed him to have dinner and tucked him to bed. She had left his room just a few minutes back.

The silence and emptiness in the room bugged Aryan. Ayaansh had shifted back to his room a day back. All the renovation that was going on in his room was done and Ayaansh was more than happy to shift back. He had been missing his neatness a little too much.

Annoyed and helpless, Aryan buried his face in the pillow and tried to sleep but all he could see was Arnav's face. He was beginning to feel scared. His Bhaiya never not approached him for more than a few hours. This was probably the longest Arnav had not spoken to him.

"Aru, so gya?"

Aryan immediately sat up hearing the voice and a sense of relief washed over him seeing Ayaansh there. Ayaansh came and settled down beside him.

"Aap yahan so rhe ho?" Aryan asked.

Ayaansh nodded at his little brother. "Haan, tujhe koi problem hai."

"Mujhe kya problem hogi?" Aryan frowned. "Aap hi ko apne room me shift hone ki bohot jaldi thi."

Ayaansh laughed. Aryan had held against him for his excitement to shift back to his own room.

"Arey buddhu, Mai toh isliye excited tha kyunki Bhaiya ne sab kuch meri pasand ka design karwaya. Mera study table, shelves, bed, aur bhi sab kuch. Tu kyu muh phula rha hai?"

"Mujhe aapke saath sona hota hai." Aryan complained.

Ayaansh smiled. Even he was feeling too peaceful in his own room, he had become to used Aryan's rant. "Haan toh aa gya na mai tere paas. Ab so ja."

Aryan nodded and lied down. "Bhai?"

Ayaansh looked at him.

"Bhaiya ne kha liya tha?"

Ayaansh nodded with a slight smile. "Bhaiya ne achche se kha liya aur so bhi gye. Chinta mat kar."

The look on Aryan's face only reflected sadness.

Ayaansh shifted himself to hug Aryan from sideways. "So ja, Aru. Kal baat kar lena Bhaiya se."

"Bhaiya bohot hurt hai, Bhai. Mujhe unse jhooth nhi bolna chahiye tha... Ouch!" Aryan looked up offended when Ayaansh whacked him. "Kyun maar rhe ho?"

"Bhaiya isliye gussa hai kyunki tune apni life ko risk kiya. Tujhe car nhi chalani chahiye thi. Kya soch rha tha?"

Aryan looked away to hide the tears that rushed to his eyes. He didn't know what was he thinking. He just acted on impulse but never in his life had he thought that will make Arnav question his respect for him.

"Aru, acha tu aise udaas mat ho ja."  Ayaansh turned Aryan's face towards him. "Tu Bhaiya se kal phir se sorry keh dena, woh maan jayenge."

Aryan didn't say anything.

"Achcha, neend nhi aa rhi toh Bhaiyu ke paas chale?" Ayaansh asked and Aryan immediately nodded his head.

Both of them barged inside Aniket's room. He was doing some paperwork. He looked up and smiled at them. "Soye nhi dono?"

"Neend nhi aa rhi, Bhaiyu." Aryan mumbled.

Aniket sighed. He knew what Aryan wanted. He closed his files and walked to the bed. "School nhi jana dono ko kal? Chalo so jao!"

"Haan, Bhaiyu, mujhe bohot neend aa rhi hai. Mai toh so rha hoon. Good night." Ayaansh said and lied down, pulling over the comforter. He knew Aniket could talk sense to their little brother.
