"Elle." A man whispered in my ear and I backed away from him. At first I was going to trade his chocolate mine for my pet dragon, but now that I knew his voice was so girly I was having second thoughts.

"Elle!" He shouted at me and I began to walk away from him. What a weirdo. "ELLE! WAKE UP!"

I screamed and opened my eyes, as water splashed in my face and up my nose. Quickly, I stood up and grabbed Jenna by the collar of her shirt.

"What are you trying to do?! Kill me?!" I yell in her ear and she chuckles a little scared.

She shrugs and scratches the back of her head. "Well, you wouldn't wake up and Hermione asked me to tell you that if you didn't get up soon, you're going to be late."

I looked down at myself and saw that I was back in my bed, wrapped tightly in my blankets. I have no idea how I got here. I pulled out my uniform and suited up quickly. Once I had pretty much gotten everything that I needed, I looked down at my pocket watch. Yes, I do have a pocket watch and yes it is pretty amazing.

I read the time and shrugged. School starts at 8:30 and it was only 7. Hermione was over-reacting.

"Huurrrryyy uup, Elle! I'm staaarriiiving!" Jenna whined and threw herself against the door frame, pitifully rubbing her flat stomach.

I rolled my eyes, but grabbed my book bag and slung it over my shoulder. "Psshh Jenna you're always hungry."

"What are you trying to say?"

She looked so offended that I couldn't help but laugh her off and change the subject. "Hey, where is Lana?"

"Ohh, yeah she went down to breakfast already with that one kid." Jenna and I hoped out of the common room entrance and began to make our way to the Great Hall. "The one who was...Irish?"

"Er...Seamus, right?" I chuckled and shook my head at Lana, she was already meeting new boys. "Figures."

"Lana is so lucky guys like her so much!" Jenna pouted as we flounced through the Great Hall doors and her eyes traveled over to the Hufflepuff table-where the Durmstrang boys where staying.

I sighed and put a hand on Jenna's shoulder and guided her to the Gryffindor table. "Come on, Hungry. Time to eat."

I plopped down in a seat that Hermione and Lana had saved for me and snatched an orange off of a plate on the table. "So. What do we have first block?"

Ron, who was in between mouthfuls of pork and eggs, spoke up sending tiny bits of food across the table. "Defense Against the Dark Arts. With Moody."

My left eye twitched a little and I wiped the back of my hand against my dress robes, he got me a little. "So he's teaching this year." I pulled out my schedule and sighed. "I have no idea how I'm going to balance all of these classes this year. I'm booked tight."

Hermione's eye brow twitched as she watched Ron cram a waffle into his still full mouth. "Let me look it over? It can't be as bad as mine was last year." She looked around the table and leaned in to whisper in my ear. "I had to sign up for a time turner."

"Really?!" I whispered back, excited. I'd always wanted to use one. Time travel always confused and excited me. "Do you still have it?!"

Hermione sighed and shook her head at me, disappointed. "Yes, but it is hidden. McGonagall told me that I was responsible enough to have one of my own."

"Can I see i-"

"No." Hermione silenced me with one of those 'Never-bring-it-up-again-ever' looks and I sighed lightly. Her eyes scanned my schedule. "We have every class together except Potions and Divination." She snorted and rolled her eyes.
