When you meet your soulmate all of your past lives flash in front of your eyes, but Jimin has only seen scraps of memories twice. Once while meeting his new classmate Taehyung, once looking into the eyes of his idol crush, world star singer Jungkook...

There was soft piano music filling the room with something indescribable.
"I stare into your eyes And fall on your lips..."
That angelic voice sounded and Jimin has never been prepared how it could rip him open just by one line.
"The past rewinds And it has been me The one who has broken you way too many times Endless stories Closed in a fist Watching the nightmare Of our past Makes me wonder If I... have ever deserve the tiniest piece of your love," Jungkook's voice once again completely filled the space, the most beautiful temblor ever created by heaven.
The lyrics so heartbreaking, yet the most romantic love confession Jimin had ever encountered.
"This life I'll make it right My soulmate This life I'll do my best This life I'll not play safe Chase the stars Give my life To be Your soulmate Promise me You can one day forgive My mistakes Make us live forever Because it has been me the one at fault Endless dreams Closed in a fist Fore one life let's kill The darkness Be like we deserved to be In love, in us, free, like tonight So tonight I will make it right My soulmate Tonight I will do my best Tonight I will not play safe Chase the stars Give my life To be Your soulmate In the mirror I can see all mistakes All the empty promises And I can't change what has happened in the past I'm sorry love This life I'll make it right My soulmate This life I'll do my best This life I'll not play safe Chase the stars Give my life To be Your soulmate..." The studio door cracked and Jimin looked up from the place where he had been crouching in front of the speaker too lost in the lyrics. His hands couldn't work quickly enough to stop the song, his heart beating up as if he had been caught committing a crime.
"May I help you?" He said expecting one of the backup dancers he was supposed to train, but there was a tall young man in a blazer jacket over black training clothes and a bucket hat covering his face almost completely so only his heart shaped lips with a mole underneath were visible.
"May I?" He asked closing the door hesitantly while Jimin needed to rub his eyes unsure he's not hallucinating.
"What are you doing here?" He gasped.
"Um... came to ask you to dance for me," Jungkook leaned against the door.
"What?"
"I need a backup dancer for a complicated choreography..."
"There are many dancers," muttered Jimin getting up to fix his hair.
"There are, but none is like you," Jungkook was standing there keeping his ground. "My company wanted to contact you with an official proposal, but I have decided to do it myself."
"Why?" There were funny goosebumps running down Jimin's body.
"I wanted to see you and tell you that I miss your taste."
"You can't!" Jimin protested loudly as his heart was racing, his insides twisted like falling stars.
"I can," Jungkook moved, his shoes were squealing against the studio floor when he approached stopping so closely. "I can and I will fight for you how long it takes," there was no doubt in Jungkook's voice when Jimin was begging himself to stay calm.
"Why?" He gasped.
"This life I'll make it right, my soulmate," there was Jungkook hot breath fanning the side of Jimin's face with his whisper. "You definitely understand how it is to see your soulmate being slowly surrounded by that filthy..." Jungkook tensed closing his fists. "While you exactly know what he has done, what you have done... and you can't tell your soulmate what danger we're in, can't stop him, or help him, or make him remember, so I decided to use his own weapon against him and play the antisoulmate hoping this will in some twisted way make you choose me over him..."
"Jungk..." turning around was the biggest mistake as he was confronted with the most beautiful sight on the planet.
"I'm sorry. Can you at least become my dancer?" Jungkook asked seriously, but Jimin was like star struck falling through space.
"What?" Jungkook blushed. "Don't act like my fan girl."
"I'm definitely not."
"Definitely not?" The playful glitters returned to Jungkook's eyes, but Jimin only wrapped his hands around his neck watching each inch of his delicious lips.
Was he really here falling again for his stupid soulmate, his guardian of heaven, his idol crush.
"Definitely not," he muttered leaning in to melt into Jungkook's lips, he can always say he had been drunk or crazy, so they were now merged in saliva and warm tongues for what felt like forever.
The door cracked and they jumped from each other all embarrassed when the stunned dancers were frozen in the entrance.
"Um, so... can I pick you up later?" Asked Jungkook awkwardly.
"Keep dreaming," Jimin's insides were now in uproar of stupid butterflies.
"So? 9 pm?" Jungkook licked his lips in playing on the piercing.
"Totally not," Jimin knew his face was glowing and all those dancers were watching them like two idiots.
"No? So what was that here?" Jungkook raised his brow.
"I just like your taste," Jimin grinned.
"I'll pick you up at 9," Jungkook sent him a meaningful chuckle when Jimin was stuck there watching his impressive back unable to calm himself down as what has that just been. Was his soulmate coming tonight to take him on a date.
Stop! Just stop, you're mad at him, he's a cheater and a lier, and... totally undeniable.
"Jimin... um. Will there be a practice today?" Asked one of the dancers awkwardly.
"Yes, yes... sure. Please warm up," he muttered escaping towards the speaker to switch some music on.
"Have you and Jungkook been kissing?" Asked one of the girls hesitantly while blushing awfully.
"He is my soulmate," muttered Jimin when the mad butterflies in his heart exploded with unnecessary excitement.
For sure him and Jungkook had a lot to discuss, a lot to work through, but maybe he should give his soulmate a chance, or better give himself a chance to be happy. We can figure it out this lifetime and enjoy all the next, he thought settling it with himself when his toes were still doing weird dancers in his shoes.
