𝐭𝐰𝐨, surprises

Start from the beginning

I spend a long time around Alex, taking pictures around the Williams paddock as well. We spoke and had fun conversations so we became friends.

Then I checked my phone, just before going to the McLaren paddock.

I didn't even know he posted this! Wow. Its alright, I was leaving anyways. On my way to the McLaren paddock right now!

When I made it to the McLaren paddock, my eyes immediately started searching for the drivers. Yet I couldn't get my mind of something. Ugh, it triggered me. I took a deep breath, holding my camera in my hand.

I caught one driver, Oscar Piastri. Who was in his rookie year, just like Logan. No, no. I'm talking about someone else, I shouldn't be talking about Logan right now.

I tried to hold myself together, taking shots of Oscar. Who was holding a phone in his hand, texting someone.

Then his eyes moved to me, as I continued taking pictures. Then he put away his phone.

He didn't say a single thing towards me, but he smiled. So I decided to speak, making it less awkward.

"You seem relaxed for your first race of your F1 season." I chuckled, placing my camera back on my chest. Letting it rest there.

"Well I'm quite nervous, but that's normal. I guess I just don't look like that at all." He said, then giggled when I laughed at him.

"It's my first season too, don't worry. I get it." I muttered. Trying to relate to his feelings.

"First season? Of being a photographer here?" The Australian guy asked. I shrugged.

"Yeah, pretty much." I laughed a little. Then looked at him with a smile.

"Well nice to meet you." Oscar replied.

"I'm Clover, Clover Rossi. Just a simple photographer around here." Did I really just say 'simple' ? Oh my gosh.

"Oscar Piastri. You probably already knew that. It's the reason why you were photographing me." He laughed, sounding quite chill as he spoke. I like being around him, he's calm.

I understand why Logan is friends with him. Stop. Stop. Stop! Why am I speaking about Logan again? I sighed quietly, not letting Oscar hear or see.

"It's hard to not know you, after all the Alpine and McLaren contracts." I shrugged. I've done my research on the F1 community. Oscar's contract situation caught my eye fast. It's crazy what happened.

"Yeah, it's been quite a deal." He nodded. Oscar was calm, but also the way he spoke was relieving.

I know that they've trained to speak like this, but this man is like this in general. That's quite special. I laughed. Then he had to leave, so I said my goodbyes and left the McLaren paddock as well.
