I stood with Ian as we leaned against the rail on the cargo boat, heading to Site B. Ian shook his head and looked at Eddie, who opened a case. Eddie grinned, "Lindstradt air rifle. Fires a subsonic Fluger impact delivery dart." I looked impressed and Ian muttered, "It works better than your satellite phone?" Eddie rolled his eyes at Ian, "That's funny."

Eddie pulled the rifle out, "I loaded it with the enhanced venom of Conus purpurascens, South Sea cone shell. The most powerful neurotoxin in the world. Acts within 0.002 of a second. Which is faster than the nerve-conduction velocity. So the animal's down before it even feels the prick of the dart." Ian looked away from him, "Is there an antidote?"

Eddie looked confused, "Like if you shot yourself in the foot? Or if Clarissa gets tired of you? Don't do that, you would be dead before you even realized you had an accident." Ian smirked and looked at me, "Keep away from Eddie." I gasped in mock offense, "How dare you." The driver of the boat was speaking Spanish angrily at Nick as they walked over.

Nick looked at us, "He says he's unloading us on the shore right here. He won't go any further upriver. He's heard too many stories about this island chain. He'll drop us off and anchor somewhere offshore." Ian looked confused, "What kind of stories." I looked at the mainland, "Fishermen came too close to the island and never returned." The man kept talking and I smiled at him in comfort, "He has a radio. He has a satellite phone. When we need him, call, and he'll be here in two hours, but he will not stay here."

Nick looked at me, "You could have translated the entire time?" I shrugged, "You seemed to be doing fine." Nick glowered at me as Ian and Eddie grinned under their hands as they covered their face. The little boy at the man's side smiled at me and then spoke to his father, speaking Spanish.

Ian looked confused as Nick and I shared a look, listening to the conversation. The man came over to me and continued speaking Spanish, trying to convince me to not go to the island. I asked why and he said that I was glowing with child. I gasped as Ian came over and asked, "What's wrong?"

Nick smiled at Ian, "The man thinks that your wife is pregnant. He's worried for her." I shook my head and reassured the man that I was not pregnant since I had taken a test before we left this afternoon. The man smiled knowingly and patted my shoulder, saying prayers for me.

Ian cupped my cheeks, "Is he right?" I sighed and shook my head, "Took one before we left. Negative." Ian kissed my head, "It will be what God makes it. Don't stress. I love you, not if you can give me a kid. Besides, Owen might need a mom when we get back." I smiled and hugged Ian, resting my head against his chest as Nick continued talking to the driver.

We made it to land and drove all the equipment to the site. After we parked and set most of everything up, I walked ahead of the guys, looking for Sarah. I saw Sarah's bag and ran over to it as Ian chased after me, "Honey!? Honey!" I picked it up and looked around for her as Ian grabbed the bag, poking his fingers in and out of the hole in her bag.

"Sarah!" I called out and Nick followed, "Sarah!" Ian called out too, "Sarah!" Nick yelled louder, "Sarah Harding!" I stopped and looked at Nick, "How many Sarahs do you think are on this island?" Ian snickered, "Dumbass." I followed Eddie as he was amazed at the dinosaurs and I stood there, watching them. I knew what they were and they were harmless, but I didn't really want to get close to another one after what happened four years ago.

Eddie and Nick were freaked out, but Ian held me close. I looked at the dinosaurs and Eddie smiled, "This is magnificent." Ian held me close to him, "Yeah. 'Ooh, ah.' That's how it always starts. But then later there's running and screaming." Nick walked a bit to take some pictures and then he screamed and fell as Sarah yelled at him, "Hey, Nick!"
